Where are you getting birth announcements from?

(Call me old school and environmentally irresponsible if you must - I think the birth of a baby deserves paper! )

I've looked on snapfish and a few others like that... not impressed. So far I'm liking these print-yourself ones: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id...ion_id=5771132

Where are you ordering yours if you are sending them out?

I will also be using an Etsy store (soo many to decide from). I love that most of the sellers will customize with colors, fonts and number of pictures. I also love that I can order exactly as many as I need and not end up with a bunch of leftover. I already bought some nice envelopes and am going to try and address/stamp them before baby arrives. The beauty is that I can actually send the file via email to the less traditional people on our list so we don't have to spend as much on snail mail to people who will just toss it anyway.

I'm using Vistaprint.com because they're cheap and I've got a 20% off coupon.

I'm making my own (similar to the Etsy ones).

I'm designing my own on vistaprint. They are very reasonable. Is it bad I'm planning on ordering mine while I'm still at the hospital? I've got the design finalized except name and birth information.

I'm planning to use an etsy seller, but I don't know who yet. They are a great price, and I don't know how to get a hold of some of those designs to make them myself.

I would like to have them printed on some nice stock though, so I'm not sure where to order the prints from. Any suggestions?

If I really wanted nice stuff (not sure I'd shell out for this honestly) I would get card stock from PaperSource and take it to Kinko's to print. I think that would yield the nicest results.

I'm making my own on Publisher. I designed them already and just have to put in pictures and stats. I will print and send some (I did the print at Kinkos thing when DD was born, but printed at home last time and got results that were just as good)- but I will email a whole bunch of them. We just have too many people to send to around the country and around the world- and if I had to print/assemble them all like I did when DD was born- it would take weeks to get them out.
