buying linen?

I'd like to buy a lot of linen for my bag-making enterprise. Does anyone know a place online which has good prices? Linen seems very expensive and I don't want that price to trickle down to the cost of the bags...but I really like the look of it.

www.fabrics-store.com often has 60" wide 20yd bolts of white/natural for $99. I don't remember what shipping was, but I remember I didn't choke. The white should dye well with anything. The natural dyed true with a dark green, but the accidental pink dying (by way of other fabric being washed with it at the same time ) left the natural speckling visible.

Even enough weave for embroidery, not even enough for cross-stitching.

KaraBoo,

What weight linen are you looking for? There is a co-op going on right now at this yahoo group for woven european flax linen. Twill weave linen too!

Maybe something you're looking for.
