would love comments/suggestions/critiques for my blog..

I started my blog a few months ago and I would love feedback on it!!

When I first started I had wanted it to be purely educational and informative, but overtime I have been adding more personal post because I know, as a reader of other blogs, that I like to read about personal things to. So as of now, I don't really know exactly what I'm going for or what I'm trying to do besides just write whatever is on my mind.


ANYWAYS, any thoughts are very much appreciated! Thank you in advance!

just visually, because it is so white and simple (which i like!) i'd have a colourful photo with each post.

the subject matter is more for first time moms, i imagine, so it is difficult for me to get really interested in the blog.

i also found your posts rather neutral--pure information. and in this stage of my life, this information is not my cup of tea . but i imagine that if these posts were more personal and were half information, half perosonal story, for example, i might have more reasons to keep on reading.

for example--the post on ppd. if it started with somethign like this: as i was walking in a park and watching blah blah, i was overwhelmed by the feeling of sadness... blah blah...and i realised how in the most beautiful moments of my life blah blah there's always sadness...blah blah

you get the idea--to tie the information that is to follow with something personal.

just my thoughts. happy blogging!

EDIT: omg, you baby is due in 2 days!! happy labour and baby mooning! forget blogging!

I totally get what your saying!

I write some post that are very " educational/strictly informational," and others that are very personal and opinionated. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing, or what. At first when I started this blog I thought it would be strictly an informative blog but then realized that is BORING to read and to write and opinions and " fun" things needed to be added otherwise it was just like writing a research paper every day!

And good point about the first time mom's thing- I need to figure that out. i want mom's from ALL stages and walks of life to be able to relate to that, not just first time mom's. Thing is, it's the easiest for me to write about what I'm going through at the moment, which right now, is being pregnant and being a frist time mom. Hmm.. something I need to sort through.

Also... ... good point about the pictures, I totally agree. Thanks for your suggestions!!
