Great Breastfeeding Pic

In the Jan 09 National Geographic (old, I know, but I just read it), on page 46, there is this photo.

It's hard to see in the online version, but the baby is giving a very similar look to the gold scales his (her?) mother is peering at. I thought it was remarkable.

I also thought the mom was really pretty, and I liked the caption about "balancing" (get it?) work and motherhood.

Ahh that's a sweet picture...and an interesting pictorial metaphor for the literal "balancing act" that it seems most all mothers are trying to achieve.

Proof that you can work WITH your baby. It would be nice if it were expected that, say, teachers who were new mothers were expected to bring their nurslings with them to class.

See, I don't understand why "popping it out over the top" is considered lewd in the States... that photo wasn't lewd!
