VERY new to all of this but very interested! ( I was sucked into the allergy forum and what I found about butt dimples, arched palates, vit B def, low stomach acid....
I am looking for dairy free stuff to make and I am going back to being a veggie real soon so I guess vegan stuff too: HELP!

We get a crap ton of beans and barley from wic, as well as carrots too. If that makes a difference. Can you make kefir that is dairy/soy free?

There are veggie TF-ers -- I have read threads on that topic here before.

Some aspects of TF are animal-based (pastured meat & raw dairy, bone broth), but other aspects are not (non-lacto-fermented veggies, kefir/komkbucha, eating unprocessed/whole/real food, soaking grains).

I hear Wild Fermentation by Sandor Katz is a good book for non-lacto-fermenting.
