Anyone have any odd or classic textbook symptoms?

*I was burning hot the night before last, took off all my clothes (house was 65F)...that 'furnace-in-my-chest' feeling is a sure sign...

*I'm built like a brick sh!thouse!!!

*Craving vinegar and salt! :

*Return of heartburn (going to by the Maalox today) :

My stomach is a little...off today. I'm not nauseous, I just feel funny. I have been pretty tired, I guess. I've been getting a little dizzy. Nothing too exciting. Oh, and I have been ALL ABOUT navel oranges. At least 3 a day. That's been going on for over a week, so I'm not sure whether it is pregnancy-related or whether I am just going through a phase.

Nonstop nausea - unless I am constantly eating. It has me wondering though, as I was sick early on with the girls, but not this sick. While putting away some soup yesterday I had to run to the sink as I thought everything was going to come up. Usually I don't start puking till about 8 weeks prego.
So tired... so incredibly tired. Wow I forgot about how tired a person gets the first trimester.

Wow I've heard most ppl are less sick w/ subsequent pregnancies than with the first! Ugghh...I feel your pain, i was so sick w/ DD I wanted to die at times!

I was less sick with dd2 then dd1. Hmmm I wonder if this one is a boy? I hear you about wanting to die though. Ughh, I can't believe I want to go back to those sick days so badly.

I get a little queasy after I eat, which is odd, I was always under the impression that nausea was the result of low blood sugar, and eating would make it go away. Fortunatly, it`s not that bad, really, I can handle it fine.

The weirdest thing that`s happened to me is CHOCOLATE DOESN`T APPEAL TO ME!!! The last couple of days, I`ve had a piece of (good quality too) chocolate from a box on our desks in the office, and the second it hit my stomach, I felt ugh, gross!!! Usually I can`t get my hands away from it and can consume copious amounts of the stuff!!! And last night I was skiing, and just the thought of hot chocolate made me want to gag.

So that`s probably a very, very good symptom! I hope I keep it all my life!!!

Ugh! This thread is timely b/c symptoms hit me like a ton of bricks today!
I feel hot, headachy, and queasy.
This is no fair!! With DS #1, I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 6 weeks, didn't start feeling symptoms until about 7.
If I'm feeling this crappy at just 4 weeks, it's going to be a looong 1st trimester.

Thankfully I haven't been too bad.

Last week as some Hcg creeped, I felt a little nauseous - it wasn't like I felt like puking, but just something in my throat sort of feeling.

I have had a bit of heartburn for no reason, which I ususally do not get.

hmm- I wouldn't say no reason. I would say the reason is because you are pregnant.

I am exhausted, and my boobs hurt so badly, and when I take off my bra they hurt to hang there They also don't just hurt when I touch them, but just because

I am not feeling nausea so to speak, but my tastes have changed. I feel like eating different things, the foods I used to eat don't appeal to me anymore.

I wish I had this! I've got the appetite of a horse!

Perhaps this is TMI, but my nipples have changed color! They are much darker. I am really surprised...I knew that that would happen, but I certainly didn't expect it to happen this early! Also, today I have been burping a lot, which is really not like me at all, and I feel like I stay really full after I eat for much longer than normal.

I'm terribly gassy (I was with Carter, too!), mildly crampy (I was with Carter, too), queasy (I was attributing that to the gastroenteritis we all had; guess I was wrong), and TIRED!

Ugh and I am craving Chili 5-Ways from Steak n' Shake. Which is a big no, Carter is allergic to dairy, soy, and wheat, so I can''t eat them either .

It's funny you say that because I was noticing last night that mine had already changed from pink to purple! Aaannd, THEY'RE HUGE! Did you know the purpose of that is so that the baby can see them easier for nursing?? Women's bodies are just amazing!

No gas here, but definitely craving salt. It's all I can think about. I even caught myself linking my fingers last night after I added a pinch of salt to dinner!

Just like each of my other pregnancies... fatigue. The last two days I noticed it, yesterday I couldn't shake it even after DH let me sleep in. Also, my boobs are a little sore-- but nursing has been really "nails on a chalkboard" for a month or two now, so I didn't think much of it. One other weird thing is I had a dream about food, which is something I rarely do unless I'm pregnant.

Welcome Shell ell- I'm wondering though if you might be in the wrong ddc. As you said this is a shock that you are pregnant and you have been having prego symptoms for the past month or so, with an edd of nov 12. My edd is nov 9, and AF isn't even late yet. I tested at 11 dpo. Or maybe prego brain stepped in and you meant nov 2.
We would love to have you though! So Welcome! and I hope you can get some sleep!

Nope, I'm in the right place. I tested positive yesterday at 9 dpo, and I am 10 dpo today. EDD November 12.

What I meant is that nursing has been unpleasant for the last month or so anyhow, so it was hard to gauge whether that was really a pregnancy thing.

Wow that's early detection?! I did a dipstick at 9DPO because I thought I was 16 DPO (long story, had O date wrong and it was negative. Just out of curiosity (and to know, for future's sake, of a good test), what brand HPT did you use?
no kidding... wow 9 dpo! That is early! Congrats. I tested at 11 dpo and it was a very faint line. You are one of those rare lucky people! That's awesome. Well welcome!! Hopefully nursing gets better, strange that it's been painful the last month or so.

What clued you in that you might be pregnant so early and to test?
First Response Early Result. All three of my pregnancies I've tested positive at 9 dpo with that test. (Actually, with my first, I tested with a Target brand first, which aren't nearly as sensitive) I have a friend who's used the dollar store tests and gotten BFP's at 8 dpo.

I wouldn't say nursing has been painful, but after a certain point it just gives me the creepy- crawlies, especially at night. I think it's hormonal.

Honestly I tested because I knew I'd likely have an answer if I did it, and I wanted to quiet my mind. I didn't expect it to be positive. We were charting to avoid, and got pregnant from DTD 6 days before O.
