Hep. B vaccine

This is a website I thought some people might want to take a look at. It's about a baby who was given the hep. B vaccine just days after his birth and unfortuantly had a bad reaction to it.

Hep V vaccine

This is so sad. Makes me think I played russian roulette having my dd be given the Hep b shot in the hospital...

I have seen this....it is so sad. It is beyond me why anybody thinks a newborn needs a Hep B vaccine. I think it's nuts that the medical community reccomends this for all newborns regardless of risk factors

All vaccines should be treated as POISONS. They are only worth discussing toxic side effects that includes death. And it pains me to know that some parents still submit their young babies to this horrible procedure.

That poor baby boy. That made me sob.

I'm at work and it took all my strength to not start bawling at my desk.
Absolutely tragic! That poor baby.

I did agree to having my baby get this vaccine in the hospital. Not because I am an idiot though. It was recommended by the pediatrician & I just thought that it was what I was supposed to do.

I've been reading her blog. It's very informative. Ian's mom is suffering from cancer too.

It is medically contraindicated to give a child born to a Hep B - mother the Hep B vaccine. This child suffered needlessly. I'm horrified at what has become of the medical profession. Just horrified.

Many more people die of liver failure secondary to Hep B infection..not to mention liver cancer- also directly related to infection with Hep B. Hospitals are full of them....slow.. painful..jaundiced deaths that are just as horrific as the pictures on the website you mentioned.

There is a much greater risk of contracting Hep B over a lifetime than having an adverse reaction to a vaccine.

Be smart, please educate yourself, go visit people dying from Hep B before deciding not to vaccinate. You'll find them in the hospices, in the hospitals.

But this is about newborns. They are not at as high a risk.

Stats? Even the CDC says that your chance is higher of having an adverse vaccine reaction than even *contracting* ANY of the vaccine available diseases.

Add to that - a newborn has a VERY VERY low chance of encountering Hep. B and the vaccine has been shown to wear off by 10-12 years- before they increase in likelihood of contracting it.

People shouldn't die of Hep B naturally in a healthy individual. Liver failure is the result of chronic accumulation of drug toxicities throughout the entire treatment. The greater risk of acquiring Hep B is thru the DIRECT inoculation of an altered virus in the bloodstream of a non-diseased newborn. It is that early.

It's the medical establishment's fault for this, not the parents. They are the ones pushing all vaccines on all children, as if a One Size Fits All approach is evidence based, no way! Before I can ever again vaccinate my children I want to know which children are more susceptible to adverse reactions from vaccines, and why-will my son have another febrile seizure? Will my nephew die this time after the next DTaP shot? Are my nephew's and oldest son's allergies and eczema caused by a vaccine? but NO doctor can seem to tell me that. And tell me how one vaccine dose is supposed to be appropriate for both a newborn and a 5 year old? And all of a sudden at 6 you can start receiving the same dose deemed to be effective on a 150 lb. adult? The dosage for infant's tylenol is more evidence-based.
The hospital's reaction in this case says it all anyway. "No way could it be the vaccine", they said. I call their bluff. They were covering their arses and that baby had to go through needless pain and suffering after the hospital injected this vaccine into a living breathing, small person with no risk factors for Hep B, who is now dead. Shame on them for not fulfilling their oath to 'Do No Harm'

I seriously doubt they were infected as newborns...The point is that people at risk for Hep B can get this vaccine when they are older and their body can handle it better.

Have you ever looked at the VAERS numbers for this vaccine? The number of serious adverse events is staggering when you compare that to the total potential threat to babies. It's absurd. I suggest you educate yourself before you begin spreading horror stories that are only meant to promote fear.

This is exactly why I had a homebirth so that I wouldn't come any where near people who believe that this vax does any good for a newborn.
