I'm Kelly - mom to 2 y.o ds1 and 6 month old ds2. Yep. I said 6 months:

We are thrilled - this truly is a miracle baby. My period was late, so I tested and got a BFN. Heavy period started 4 days later and lasted almost 2 weeks. I was having more and more preg symptoms so I retested and got a BFP. Figured I had miscarried and called my midwife who agreed. A week later I was still having preg symptoms and some spotting, so I asked to go for a u/s. Lo and behold, there was my little heartbeat at an estimated age of 6 weeks old. I can only guess that I ovulated around day 30 of my cycle (never has happened since I've been charting) and implanted amidst all the heavy bleeding. Wow.

I had stopped charting mid cycle because my temp was all over the place and I figured this was just an anovulatory cycle.

Nevertheless, we're thrilled ::: AS near as I can figure, my EDD is around the second week of November.

Wow 6mos. Congrats! :
My good friend who is due any day now found out she was pregnant when her first was only 3months! They will be less than 13mos apart! Irish twins I think is what they call it.
Anyways, welcome!

What the heck-- I'm in. I hesitate to post because of some IRL people who read these boards and will . . .well, gossip about the news. Phooey to them! Hopefully they will keep quiet, but it's not likely. I will pretend this info will remain private, hahahaha!

ANYWAY, I am completely and utterly surprised to be here, due with #4 sometime around Nov. 20th? Not sure. The last two times I charted and I knew every detail, but not so this time.

I hope that we are all here to stay with very boring and blessed pregnancies and births! to us all!

Okay, I'm joining up. I have suspected/hoped/been worried that I was/wasn't pregnant for about 10 days. This past week I had then . I have since stopped taking pregnancy tests.

About me: I'm 33, a SAHM with a very part-time freelance gig. DH and I have one daughter who just turned 4. My last two pregnancies ended in m/c, so I'm a little freaked out about this one.

We moved from the Chicagoland area to Sioux Falls, South Dakota last October. I am hoping for a homebirth, but they are legally difficult here. I'm investigating my options to see what may be feasible.

I am : to actually belong in a DDC. My EDD is Thanksgiving.

I'm Dani and I'm 29 and expecting #2 11/27. I've been with my dh for ten years and we have a 6yo dd. I'm thrilled to be pregnant again, we have been ttc for 5 years so it's been a looooong wait!! I'm a SAHM and love my job and just can't wait to hold this little one!!

My name is Melissa. I am 26yr old mama to my 2 1/2 yr old daughter. She just weaned a couple weeks ago so the timing of this couldn't be better! We actually weren't "trying" but we didn't totally prevent either. This baby is totally wanted and every month I have been praying for this to happen! God works in amazing ways!! I work p/t mornings and my DH works p/t evenings. It's soo nice. I am hoping to just be a SAHM after this one comes like I did for the first year of my dd life. My dd was an unexpected C-sec. so my hope and plans are to learn from that experience and hopefully get my home vaginal birth!! :

Hello ladies, my name is Kate. I'm pregnant with our second lo and due around the end of November. I am already a mama to dd Charlotte (affectionately known as Charley, like the boys name) who's almost 9 months...the two should be about 17 months apart! I'm pretty freaked out, this baby wasn't exactly planned, but I'm happy too and figure it will all work out. Luckily dd is pretty relaxed and easy going, hopefully she'll stay that way when this new lo joins us!
No "symptoms" yet...just a little tired and grouchy! We're planning to give birth in a local birth center with a midwife. We did the hospital the first time and that SUCKED, we're Bradley folks and look forward to experiencing labor free from the pressures of the hospital atmosphere.
Congrats to all you mamas!

Hi there - my name is Johanna and I'm brand new here! I just found out I am pregnant with #1 and am due Nov. 19. I'm excited, scared, and mourning the loss of sushi all at the same time. This pregnancy is definitely a BIG surprise, not at all planned for, but I'm quickly getting used to the idea. I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all!

Peace!

Introducing Myself

Hi, I'm Amanda, 28, from Louisiana. I'm a pediatric RN. We found out two weeks ago we're expecting after two long years of infertility treatment. Last week, we found out we're expecting twins! Due date based on O date is 11/19/09.

Hi! I'm Tessa, full-time mama to dd (8 yrs) and ds (2.5 yrs) and married to my dh for almost 9 years (dd is our wedding night baby!). I had a c-section with my dd (she was a footling breech who wouldn't turn and I didn't know about midwives then so I was rather blindly going along with what my ob suggested) and a vbac homebirth with my ds.

I'm a little hesitant to post, but I'm tentatively optimistic about this little one. I had a m/c last May (and one between dd and ds. So far my pattern is dd, m/c, ds, m/c, so this one should stick, right?! My dd says she has a good feeling about this one and she is really hoping for a little sister! Also, I went to my ob for reassurance and saw the little bean's hb and I've been feeling really sick, so that's good! lol

Oh, and this one was definitely conceived on Valentine's day! :

Hi, I'm 29 years old. This is my third pregnancy, but will be my first child (I lost the other two).

I'm trying not to get ahead of myself or overly optimistic, but I'm definitely counting down the days until mid-May when this first trimester is finally over. I'm due around Nov 20-25th ish.

Hi, I'm Jennifer, age 31. I've been married for 1.5 years. This will be our first child. We've been trying to conceive for a few months now. I was pretty sure that we weren't pregnant this month. I thought I was feeling all sorts of PMS symptoms. A week after missing my period and two home pregnancy tests later, it's as certain as it can be. We're so excited!! Looks like the little one will come right around Thanksgiving. It doesn't feel quite real yet. No morning sickness yet (yay!).

Nov 16

Hi! Here I am at 32 with my fourth child incubating and due Nov 16. I have a 7,5, and 3 year old. I am homeschooling, working a bit, going to school. We will be very busy! But too blessed to be stressed.
Planning on homebirth. It will be my third. The last one came before the midwife arrived and was born in the caul(waterbag). Looking forward to this childs arrival. I did not expect to get pregnant now and am still getting over the surprise. Pleasant surprise!

Hi!

I am Kelly, 32 and mom to two great kids. David is 4 and a very spirited boy who always keeps us on our toes. Rachel is 1 and a real pistol.

This baby is due Nov 5 just a month and half before Rachel turns 2. We are really excited and really surprised. Both my other two were conceived on clomid and this one was a real shock. We had an ultrasound that confirmed an 8 week old fetus and even got to hear the heartbeat!

I am in the market for a new midwife since mine joined with a practice of csection obs. I would love to consider a homebirth but don't know if DH would be onboard. David was a csection due to breech presentation and Rachel was a healthy VBAC but I hemorraged afterwards. So, we will just see!

So happy to offically be here after lurking the last 2 weeks!

Kelly
