New show for us women is coming soon! I'm already kind of in love with the protagonist -- she's one of those who used to have it all and is now trying to piece her life together again after everything falls apart. I think we can all sympathize... we've been there at one time or another. I knoooow I have.

Sophie is on it second or third season here. I watched the first half of the first season, but it was really unfunny though it was billed as a comedy and boring, imo.

ETA: Weird that they didn't show her being hugely pregnant or her baby at all since it is a pretty big story line.

I thought the show was really weird.. I only watched the first couple episodes before I decided it wasn't for me. I was really hoping they would focus on her parenting, but even in the episodes where she was having the baby and bringing him home, I felt like they ignored it. It's been a long time since I've seen it though, so take it with a grain of salt I suppose.

Maybe they just want people to watch the show for the character Sophie, so that we care about her pregnancy by the time it happens? (I didn't even know she had a baby, whoops). I am excited for this to finally come to the US though, it still looks really cute to me. Like one of those shows that is a good escape from the pressure of real life at the moment. I don't think they're advertising it as a comedy here, but rather just a... dramedy if anything, but just this one woman's story.

So far I am really enjoying the show! I about gasped aloud at the end of the first episode when the baby was half black... also the baby is so CUTE! I love seeing her not knowing what to do... I feel like that's what I'd be like. And of course she goes to her mother for advice!
