I have recently started doing the Natural Calm on a daily basis and I think it is making a good difference for me.

Technially, Natural Calm isn't originally Mag citrate. It starts out as Mag carbonate and citric acid and, when water is added, a chemical reaction occurs between the two (presumably causing the fizzing) which results in mag citrate.
But yes, it actually does say it's proprietary. "A highly absorbable proprietary blend of magnesium carbonate and citric acid..." is a direct quote from my bottle.
