Welcome Laura!

I'm here. Just in the 2ww of a natural cycle because our last IUI was cancelled.

We will be doing an IUI (actually 2 this time). I should O around the 21st or so. Can't wait to get the show on the road and make a December baby! :

IUI Yesterday

Hi..well, I was originally on the Feb. IVF thread but it was converted to IUI due to poor response. I had my IUI yesterday afternoon. I have a good feeling!!! This is my fourth IUI.... but my first with injectables. I also started acupuncture this cycle which is very relaxing. Babydust to all!!! The dreaded 2WW is the worst, but my goal this time is to stay busy and focused on other things! : Hope it is ok that I join you guys too! These threads have helped me so much.

I agree about the 2WW but you sound like you have a positive attitude to carry you through!! Acupuncture sounds very relaxing - I might try it next cycle if this one doesn't work!!

I am waiting to O, then we'll do the insemination.........this is a clomid cycle, if it doesn't work then it's onto injectables - I've heard they're a lot more effective! So lots and lots of

Tami- Just wanted to chime in accupuncture is wonderful. Its so relaxing and effective. I highly recommend starting it ASAP, so if this cycle fails, you have already started getting thing going for the next. And if it worked, all the better

Can you add me to this list? I'm a new poster but I've been lurking on these boards for a very long time. I'm on my second Clomid cycle and having my first IUI tomorrow morning! I want to be positive...I don't want to be too positive...this 2ww is going to be a killer!

Mind if I join? I'm in the 2WW (2dpo) for my first Clomid/HCG/IUI cycle and already starting to drive myself a bit crazy. I'm glad I'm not alone here. Is anyone else planning to test? or do you prefer to wait to see if AF shows? I've never POAS (other than OPKs) but I'm finally feeling optimistic enough that I might start testing at 10dpIUI/11.5dpHCG. Do you think the trigger will be out of my system by then?

Pittnurse- Welcome, may your stay be short. The trigger should be gone by 10dpo, but one of our ladies had hers hang out until 12dpo. I refuse to POAS; I feel mocked by the snow whiteness. Glad you are feeling optimistic. We are here to chat, worry, analyze, vent, whatever you need.

I poas on day 10piui to see if the trigger was out and it was. I may test again b4 I go to the DR on Wednesday. I no that it does not help me to test. Sometimes I just can't help myself. My DH says I should just wait but I don't have the best patience......

My IUI went really well. The doc said my cervix looked just like it was supposed to and she had no problem getting the sperm into my uterus. I think the timing may have ended up just perfect so we'll see. DH's numbers and motility were great. I am 34 and DH is 36 and we are TTC our first after years of not trying but not using bc. When I finally brought it up to my doctor she gently told me that it was time to get serious as I was not getting any younger. This is my second clomid cycle. I take 100mg days 3-7. My FHS is 11, much higher than I was expecting. DH has some mild morphology issues. Otherwise the infertility is unexplained. My progesterone was 32 last cycle so my ob/gyn kept me on the same amount of clomid for this cycle.
I've just been taking it easy the rest of the day, laying in bed with my laptop and browsing baby websites. I'm extremely tired and also had some major dizzy spells this afternoon when I was standing up. DH and I are going to get busy tonight, tomorrow morning, and tomorrow night. Whew, hope he's up for it!

I would love to be added. I will probably have an IUI this weekend. The first attempt since our loss in November. So techinically I am waiting to O. Just got a scan today and have a 10, 6, and 3 on my left and a 5 on my left. The lining looks good and the next scan is Wednesday. Good luck to us all!:

wileymama, I'm so sorry for your loss. Fingers crossed that this is your month and sending lots of sticky vibes your way!

AFM, beta tomorrow but I did poas this morning. BFN. So now I'm pretty much just waiting for AF so that we can move onto IUI #6. It will be our first with injectibles though. Hope I can figure out that follistim pen when it's time to do it!

Hello ladies!! Hope everyone is doing good today!!

afm - I went for another ultrasound this morning and found out that my follies aren't growing and the Clomid didn't work So no IUI for now. The doc wants me to wait until the 23rd to see if af shows (which is unlikely since I have very thin lining on my uterus), then I have an appointment that day for bloodwork and another ultrasound......then, she's going to put my on bc pills to build up the lining and then we'll do FSH shots with IUI as soon as everything is in order! It wasn't really what I wanted to hear, but oh well - guess I'll just wait longer!

by-the-lake - I think I'll go ahead with the acupuncture in the meantime!! It may just help! Should I look for a specific type of acupuncturist?
