Wow! Exciting news! Here's a link to one of the many sites that lists protein content in foods:

Eat away!

It's total protein, which includes the protein found in bread, rice and cereal. I ate 3 eggs for breakfast every morning, protein shakes for snacks, yogurt, cottage cheese is super high in protein. The trick is eat your protein first, then your fruits and vegetables and then carbs. Put some hummus on your crackers, PB (or soy or sunflower butter) on your bread, snack on almonds. Blue diamond has really yummy almond chips now, yum!

Ah injectables, the twin maker . With the excepton of the identicals I know, most of the multiples moms I know got theirs with injectables or IVF. I figured when you mentioned your RE that you probably had some treatment.

I'm keeping you and your LOs in my thoughts!

Huck -Thanks for the chart, it's very helpful!!!

fyrebloom - Thanks for the info! I just made about a dozen hard boiled eggs today to start eating thanks Pandme for that idea. I've never really been one that normally eats the yoke b/c I know that is usually where the cholesterol is in an egg and have had troubles with that in the past. I wonder if I don't eat that if I'm missing out on the best part of the protein??? I've actually been eating toast and natural Skippy P.B. lately as my savior when I'm really feeling nauseous so that is good. Those almond chips sound good, I'll have to look for them in the store.

Do you know any mothers that have multiples from injections that are identical? If everything works out, I'd assume that we would end up having fraternal twins since they were watching 3 eggs and had assumed we would at least get one when I triggered. I was thinking today that we actually could have gotten one with our IUI and then gotten another on our own after IUI b/c we DTD several nights after. Who knows.

Most Protein is in the egg white. Choline in yolk, good for baby brain development.
