I'm looking at some fitted diapers, and there are three brands that look good, but can't decide and am looking for opinions.

BumGenius bamboo fitted and Kissaluvs fitted are about the same price, but the Thirsties isn't that much more expensive if it's better.

Which of these have you used, and which do you like better?

I like the Thirsties better than the KL. Softer, better fit for my long, skinny guy.

I just adore the Kissaluvs. I believe the Thirsties and bumGenius! have microfiber cores, and I preferred the cotton of the Kissaluvs.

What's the difference between cotton and microfiber cores?

I think the microfiber pulls the moisture inside, away from baby's bum and it can hold more than cotton. Also, the microfiber ones need to dry a little longer (I might be wrong about that though).

it is the difference between a natural fiber and a synthetic man made fabric next to or near baby.

I have not used any of the brands mentioned. But if I were choosing it would not be the microfiber. You could not pay me to use it.

I bought the BG Bamboo but ended up returning them and not using them, mainly due to the fact that they had a microfiber core and weren't bamboo all the way through (I guess I missed that part prior to ordering them). I'm pretty sure too that the instructions they came with said they could only be washed on warm and not hot, which would have meant a separate routine for them--I could be wrong as it was about a year ago that I bought them, but that's what stands out in my mind.

I personally don't have a problem with microfiber per se, but find that it does need to be bleached occasionally to keep it stink-free, and if it is in the core and can't be separated to be bleached, it might get stinky.

I love Captain Fluffy Pants. They're trim and absorbent. And made by a WAHM.

The Kissaluvs were nice when my daughter was small, but she could wear her KL0s up to about six months-the only problem was that they weren't prepared to hold the amount of pee a six month old produces.

The Thirsties were nice but again, as she got older, they just didn't hold enough. I actually like the Tots Bots Bamboozles right now-we do a lot of cover-free time lately and I really like the snaps.
