Storch vs Didymos?

As my LO is getting bigger, I am thinking of purchasing a nonstretcy wrap....right now we have 2 moby's that we use a good bit, but are becoming cumbersome....we also have a babyhawk mei tei that we love for when we are out and about....she just turned 6 months and I would like to start carrying her on my back more with the didymos or storch, but cant decide which one to buy....I like the didymos prints more....any input would be awesome!

Thanks!

Both are excellent brands! Personally, between the two, I prefer Didymos since brand new Storch are hard to break in (to get soft and cuddly). So, if you go for Stroch, I'd find one used at FSOT on thebabywearer.com. Also, there are lots of other (more affordable) and just as excellent quality brands in the market. Check out my siggy, as I sell a lot of woven wraps. Right now, for example, you could get a Neobulle wrap for less than $100. These start out softer than either Didymos or Storch and are even more supportive than some of the Didymos weaves. People have compared them to Storch, but better. If you do a search on thebabywearer.com Wrapping forum you'd find tons of good stuff being said about this particular brand.

So, point is look around, because while Didymos and Storch are excellent, there are many others in the market that are equally as good, but more affordable.

I haven't used a Didy, but I have a Storch Inka and I really like it. I use it lots when it's really cold out. (For back carries, though, I mostly use my Kozy mei tai.) The Storch was stiff at first but if you use it for a week or so as a blankie in the car and around the house, really beating up on it, it softens right up.
