Anyone reading something other than birth stuff?

I am really enjoying Animal, Vegetable, Miracle right now. Everynight before bed, it seems to really give my brain something ELSE to think about, and then before I know it the text becomes to much for me to process and I realize "I'M TIRED!" And I close it and go to sleep...which has been such a blessing the last few nights considering I wasn't sleeping much at all before.

So, what are you guys reading? How's it helping you through the last weeks?

That was a really good book (Animal, Vegetable, Miracle).

I was just thinking that I needed to get to the library to check out some books. We just got rid of cable tv, and I want some non-internet/non-pregnancy stuff to occupy my mind. I was thinking about a good novel, but I have no idea what. Hope to get some good ideas!

I loved that book too! I want that Vegetannual poster in my kitchen.

I'm doing my most regular Hypnobabies stuff before bed, so I'm not reading a ton... Slowly making my way through Positive Discipline, which I meant to read a long time ago and figure I won't get to for a while if not now...

Just a lot of things preparing for homeschooling this fall. I know that after the baby is born my time will be limited this spring/summer so I won't be able to do as much planning. The more I can get done now, the less I'll have to do this summer.

I started on the Twillight series last week. I'm about to finish the 3rd book. They are great reads!

Well, I'm not reading birth stuff right now, but I"m reading baby stuff... does that count?

Just finished reading:

The Vaccine Book - Dr. Sears

Almost finished with:

Attachment Parenting - Dr. Sears & Wife (can't think of her name off-hand)

I finished Ina May's Guide to Childbirth earlier this week and then started Birthing from Within but I'm having trouble getting through it (it's a little too hippy dippy for my taste, I guess?)

I think I'm going to read a novel now though, or possibly Happiest Baby On the Block

Yeah, "Happiest Baby on the Block" here. I keep promising that I'll "reward" myself for getting my "studying" done beforehand by reading Twilight after I'm done with the baby books.

I got a couple books out of the library, but they just aren't holding my attention. I don't even remotely feel like reading atm, which is just bizarre for me. Of course, I don't really feel like doing *anything* atm, which is why I spend way too much time here.

I just took out Animal, Vegetable, Miracle from the library!!! Glad to hear it's a good book.

I'm currently reading (along with my Hypnobabies Home Study) Wally Lamb's latest book (The Hour I First Believed). Great book. But I probably won't finish it before my baby arrives, unless I become a speed reader!

I just finished "how to win friends and influence people'. Also reading "The Known World" -- very good novel.

i'm currently reading tuck by stephen lawhead; it's a retelling of the robin hood story with a celtic folklore twist. it's the final book in the trilogy.

I'm currently reading Kushiel's Dart for about the 15th time. I love that series.

I heard from a friend that "The hour I first believed" was really good, but long...so I stayed away...but I want to read it at some point. Who knows when I will have time to read anything after adding this baby to our fam...phew.
