Is there a way to 'flush out' dairy proteins?

I'm wondering if there's some way to 'detox' or 'flush out' dairy protein from BM? I'm 99% sure DD has an intolerance and last night I started a dairy-free diet, but I know the protein stays around for a while. Do you think pumping for a while would help get the 'contaminated' BM out? Would lemon juice or other detox type things help?

You can try taking lots of vitamin C and epsom salt baths... but unless YOU are also reacting to dairy (in which case your body would see the proteins as toxins), I'm not sure that would help clear it any faster. It normally takes about 10 days to clear dairy (and then more time to clear your LO too), but you should start seeing improvements within a few days.

You can go to the hfs and find enzymes that aid in the digestion of hidden dairy (I have some for hidden gluten that have the dairy enzymes in them) and dose as many as you can afford. That will help with whatever is tucked in the folds of your intestine- which can be spread out to the size of a tennis court, so there's lots of square footage for casein to hide in.
