With allowing ds's teeth to remineralize. He's 3.5 and about 8 teeth have from tiny to pretty deep cavities, he had an enamel deficiency when they started coming through as a baby. I wanted to ask those who have had good progress w/ using natural therapies (xylitol, MI Paste, frequent brushing, raw cheeses & milk, CLO.)
For awhile the teeth that had cavities were significantly more dark brown (active?) and now they are definitely more yellow than brown. When he smiles it is so much less evident where the affected areas are. Is the yellowing a good sign of remineralization?
We've been 2 dentists, both said we're doing a good job and to keep at it, but b/c we had to change insurances recently, I'm not able (unless I pay out of pocket) to return to the either one to get a before-after opinion on it. We are making an appt soon for a pediatric dentist....
TIA! Sande
