I just stumbled across this article that I thought seemed relevant and informative:

My pee is neon too from the B-complex. I have to find that thread and see why. Thank you for reminding me.

This morning DH asked DS how his stomach was. And he said it was a 1 (on his 1-10 pain scale). FABULOUS. I am so excited for the CST working. Then later....

We went to the in-laws for dinner. Last night DH made me email them again to make sure they didn't use salt (iodized) or anything. MIL said she was making pot roast, steamed broccoli, baked sweet potatoes and white potatoes, and salad. And she did really well at Thanksgiving. When we got there, she said she didn't put any salt on the roast, just a little pepper and water. So then we sat down to eat. And there's vegetables that she put in with the pot roast: carrots (DS can't have), white potatoes (DS can't have), and onions. They were roasting the whole time in with the meat. He already has the meat on his plate at this point... Ugh. I let him eat it. And I forgot the mini watermelon that I bought for DD2, DS, and me to eat for dessert (apple pie and ice cream for the rest of them). DD2 had some grapes so that was okay. And when we got home DS had some bananas dipped in the leftover chocolate fondue from last night (which turned out pretty good). But now I'm worried that the beef soaked in potato-corn water is going to set him off somehow, and put us back from our great CST experience.

JacquelineR, you're so good about keeping us straight with our chat thread week to week. Someday are you going to catalog them so we know which ones had what content in them? (just kidding) Soooooo much information is in each one!

Hey, that was from another thread! Every time someone has trouble with a TED, I think of that game, because you should only switch one at a time, or else it gets too confusing. My brother took it out to play with my kids a few weeks ago (DS was scary good) and I laughed.

Yes, yes it was. But my responding to it is completely OT... Last thing we need is a thread in Allergies about Mastermind.

How exciting about your DS's tummy! I'm glad the CST seems to be working!
I hope your DS doesn't react to the beef. I'm sorry.

.... Get out of my head... I was just thinking something like that today...

I LOVED Mastermind when I was a kid. FTR, my pee used to be neon but isn't anymore. That's good right?

Checking in because I want you to celebrate with me AND keep your fingers crossed. Taslyn just ate more in one sitting, in one day actually, than ever before. She ate 1/4 cup of broccoli! Now lets hope it sits well with her... and that this is the start of something good!

Ho hum. The weeks are absolutely flying past. Its 3 weeks since ppaf and I feel "off" today. Could this be PMS? I'm home alone with the child almost 24/7 right now with no respite in sight until the 17th of March! Wish us luck...

Taslyn's rash flared when I was stupid and weak enough to eat some junk, but otherwise she seems to be doing well. She's really talking now, but we both get frustrated when I can't figure out what she's trying to tell me.

Its snowing again... we had another 8 inches fresh overnight- yippee!
oh lisa, that sounds tough. its not easy bein snowed in and having full responsibility for a high needs lo! thats really tough! you're awesome and not stupid at all! we're only human (im practically gnawing my arm off for something off-diet, god what does choc taste like?!
yay, for broccoli though! go T!

ella's liking broc herself the past couple days. at first she was only choking on it, but tonight she ate a bunch ( and by bunch i mean 2 tiny flourettes ). i intro'd her to broc, cauli, beets and buffalo all in the past couple weeks. it's so much fun considering shes been eating 2-3 foods for almost 11 mos! i just watch her touching and chewing things and im like over the moon

It is good, yes. It probably means that your adrenals are healing, although it could just be that you have acidic blood (like Tanya... ).
: So exciting! There are just so many good progressions in this forum lately! :

It really is! I still blame it on PB convincing a bunch of us to drink the good juice.
Tell me about time flying. I hit the 3rd trimester yesterday. :: 12 weeks to go.
Did you say DH is out hunting *bear*? What do you do with it, if you don't mind me asking? And what kind of bear?

Okay, I'm reading it. I'm REALLY confused. They're talking about methyls being required for making dopamine (agreed) but not taking into account that they're needed to break it down as well. They're mixing the symptoms for high and low dopamine that I've seen, and calling it symptoms of histamine instead.

I don't know if they're right, or if I am. Of course my stuff makes more sense in my head, but they seem to have real experience and I just have random internet reading...

Woohoo 3rd trimester... its all downhill now! Are you getting some good naps?
Nah, right now he's at the hangar most days and nights rebuilding our airplane. He's got to have it ready for spring season which starts around April 10th- and yeah, that's bear season... both brown bears and black bears. We own and operate a big game guiding outfit and air taxi. We eat bear meat- its especially good in the spring when they're on the grass and again in the fall when they're on the berries. Its not so good when they're on the fish. Black bear is actually my favorite meat... we served it barbequed at our wedding and in the stew too. The hunters take the hides and skulls home, and we salvage any edible meat.

I have a 20 mo, a 9 yo and a DH that works 100 hours a week... I don't know the meaning of naps anymore.
Oh right, I had started reading your birth story (I'll go back to it later)... That's where I saw he went bear hunting.
I haven't ever tried bear... I'd have to ask my foster mom if that's acceptable for me to eat (I'm under the protection of Bear clan until I can actually manage to find the time to return home for my spirit quest). I know she uses bear grease for *everything* though. It makes an awesome base for salves/ointments- and is supposed to be really good on it's own for cuts and burns.

Sorry about bringing up naps then. How DO you do it all?!
Bear grease is yum. It makes absolutely unbelievable pie crust.
