Lucy/Lucas - too similar?

It's not really up for consideration anymore but every time I hear the name Lucy a little piece of me really regrets naming our older son Lucas. My grandmother who is almost 86 and has had a rough couple of years is named Lucy and I really, really wish we could be naming this baby after her. So, I was just wondering what everyone else thought.....is it just way too close to Lucas?

Our kids would be Tristan, Lucas and Lucy. I'll probably end up using it as a middle name, and this wouldn't even be such a big deal if it wasn't that we're going nuts trying to find a first name and I keep coming back to Lucy!

IMO it's fine! I have Ireland and Iceland and I just don't see anyreason you can't name your baby girl Lucy! Especially when It meens so much to you.

Thanks, ladies. I just spoke to my husband about it and he said he's decided he likes another name that is actually my #1 choice better!!! I swear he's just trying to make me lose my mind some days

The only good thing is that my sister would really like to use Lucy some day so it'll be nice if its "saved" for her
