I just watched this. It was posted on the Birth and Beyond thread. Thought I'd post the link here for anyone interested. It's in two parts, approx. 53 min. each. Excellent documentary!!!! Have the tissues handy!

Watched it a couple weeks ago. It was pretty good. Really wish there'd been a warning, though. The part near the end was hard to watch.

What's the warning? Is the part near the end just sad, or should I be prepared for something else? I want to watch it, but I am kind of scared now!

Oh, everything turns out great, it just showed the baby in the NICU and it was just hard to watch her being poked and prodded and such. Don't let it deter you from watching. It's a great documentary! But if it's too hard to watch right now (especially with us all being "due"), you may want to skip that part. It's just hard to watch the baby going through all that.

OMG yeah the ending had me BAWLING. Poor baby! I was so afraid she was going to die, with barely a chance to live! It was pretty rough to watch.

Especially since I had the line about their midwife never having lost a baby, until a few months later, stuck in my head & I was sure it was going to be their baby. Really didn't need that stress.

For me at least, the end was somewhat helpful. Yes, I wish there had been a warning, but as a homebirth mama(and daddy) it helped my husband and I talk about the "what if" of something like that.
