Question for those who have used natural dyes for yarn...

I am wanting to try my hand at this and I'm looking at buying some bare sock yarn from knitpicks. There is a 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon blend that I would like to try out but I'm not sure how the natural dyes take to the nylon.

Can anyone offer any insight?

The nylon actually dyes pretty well. Pretty much anything that will dye the wool will also dye the nylon.
