CHP TO SUSPEND MUSEUM OPERATIONS ON MARCH 9

The Clackamas Heritage Partners board of directors voted to suspend museum operations at its Oregon City facilities by the second week in March unless new funding is found. The End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, Museum of the Oregon Territory, and Stevens Crawford House are affected.

Ooh! I'll play. It's going to be an exciting summer for us. In July I'm giving birth to a baby that's not mine. That should be an adventure! In August we are traveling to Toronto to attend the wedding of dh's Mom and Step-dad, who have been common-law married since 1980, but just decided at Christmas to officially tie the knot. And Labor Day weekend is my 10-year high school reunion.

nope, had those checked, all fluids changed, and a oil change...tires are fine...it's coming from under the hood..motor maybe?
It's a 90 Lexus LS400 with 280,000 miles maybe? My mileage thing is broken, so it stopped at 250,000...so who knows how many miles are on it?
I can still feel it shaking a bit when I am stopped, like its idling hard

So Joe went to an interview for a new job today. He was going in not really caring if he got it or not. He was recommended by a friend who works there so they are kind of recruiting him. He's happy where he is just a bit bored doing so much case management. He would rather do more therapy (which he says is going against all he was taught as a social worker ) and possibly get certified in play therapy etc. He really has been enjoying play therapy lately. Okay anyway back on topic. So we both had specific expecations that this job needed to meet or he'll just stay where he his. Well the pay is less than hoped for so that makes it out. But get this, I about died laughing, apparently it is really out for Joe because he would have to wear a tie everyday, they about died when he asked about a visible tattoo, and okay here goes: there are walls and flourescent lights in the office. He is such a free spirit. He said he does not think he's ready for a "real" job. I told him we need to start thinking about getting him some insurance because he needs his own practice.

You should camp with us! We camped with Breana and family last time and it was great. I'm pretty sure Ellie and family are joining us too. Although I'm a little nervous about being 28 weeks pregnant and camping in that heat. We are lucky that we can just drive in each day if we want to stay at home. But I really loved getting swallowed up by the whole experience for a few days.

It would be fun, but I would be, what, 24 weeks pregnant? So in the same boat as you. Plus Mike can't come down until Friday night so I'm not sure if I want to handle Jake alone that first night...

We have been thinking about renting a camper on wheels, though!

What's nice about there being a few of our families there is that there are a bunch of parents and a bunch of kids to play with. Ok, the kids are to play with, not the parents. We can get our bellies painted!

Personally I really wanted to go camping while pregnant, especially pre-30 weeks, ie. pre-hell no I'm not sleeping on the ground! The fresh air and the laid back lifestyle sounded really good, though. And if you have other adults around with you, they are likely to chase an errant child for you! Out in the woods is a good place to be meditative about that new little being.

I never did go camping last summer, given my lack of driving skills and my workaholic-camping-hatin' DH. I did have fun at the beach at 35 weeks (with my sister), even though I could hardly sleep on those cheap guesthouse beds. I was easily irritated by the noise of the city, noise of Cliff constantly on the phone, the television... anything away from that was extremely attractive, sub-par sleeping conditions withstanding.
