Diapers that fasten in back?

Because of rash issues, we are currently using g diapers. I'm not super convinced about them, an interesting concept but with all the flushing and the fact you still have to wash them, cloth actually is easier.

Anyways, the most fascinating thing about them is that they fasten in back. How cool! Does anyone know about any cloth diapers that fasten in back? This is a great idea for keeping little hands off of velcro that is usually positioned in the front.

Anyone know of anything?

I don't know of any others, but we've had good luck using the gDiapers pants with prefolds stuffed inside. Best of both worlds

I've heard of stuffing the gdiapers covers with prefolds, and I'd sure like to get some use out of the cute covers sitting on the back of the toilet...

What is your preferred prefold to use in them, those of you that do?? And do you still use the plastic liner?

Sorry, op, not trying to hijack. I've never seen any other covers that fasten in back either and these are soooo darn cute.

Due to finances and what we had on hand we just used gerber prefolds. I trifolded them longways and then folded down one end to fit them into the snap in liner. I'm sure that the better prefolds would work even better

The only one I can think of off-hand that fastens in the back is Happy Endings. I haven't tried them myself.

I was wondering the exact same thing after hearing about stuffing them with cloth.

It seems like prefolds would be too bulky? Could you use an insert, maybe a hemp insert like for a pocket diaper?

I'm thinking a hemp insert, maybe with a microfleece topper, would be a really cool option.

I have always prefered side snapping diapers. I never liked velcro after 3 months because I was afraid of scratchy parts on the tummy. You may want to try them. They also get a great fit with less droop.
