By-the-lake- Thanks so much for answering my question. I just did not want to lose track of WTG. You know what I mean.

WTG: Do whatever makes you happy. If you don't take the chance would you regret it later. I have faith that it will work for you. As for the money, you will make it work!

Thanks Laci for thinking about me. Thanks for bringing up the IVF and IUI thread. Juliasmom was so nice to start one for us. I wish I could join you in the IUI thread. I never got the "joys" of doing IUI. I wish you luck in your next cycle. I have seen from other boards that it takes on avg 3-4 IUIs to get the BFP. One of them you will be the one. I noticed on your IUI thread you are going to their office at 3pm. I didn't realize they are open this late on a Saturday. What is AP stand for. I being dumb now

by-the-lake--(and also to nummies) -It has come to this point now. Maybe after this cycle taking a break would be great for both of you. You both have been through alot these past months. Like you said enjoy your family now and take a much needed break. Spring and summer are coming up and you can enjoy them without this unneeded stress. But hopefully you won't have to take a break cause you might just get surprised this month.

Ok I got it now. I need to do AP also. Laci is the AP thing on the top floor of the building. I am thinking of calling tomorrow and making an appt with them. I guess they do massages and nutrition counseling also.

wtg4miracle, best of luck on your IVF! I agree the unknown is the worst part. If someone told you that you'll have to spend lots of money and undergo a bunch of treatments, but in the end you'll have a baby it would all be so much easier. Like Laci, I also have a feeling you'll get your baby. When you first posted about it after your operation, my first thought was that IVF will work for you. So I hope I'm right!

by-the-lake, if you could update my info I'd really appreciate it. I didn't bother updating last month since I joined the thread so late. Here it is:

Needle In the Hay - Experiencing unexplained secondary infertility for 5+ years. 2 failed IUIs (w/clomiphene & trigger), planning an unmedicated IUI this month if all goes well. Hypothyroidism seems to be under control according to my latest bloodwork.

Oh wtg. If you purchase soon you can get b3 g1 free which is really worth it and they do not all have to be the same treatment! I think it ends soon though

Thanks Laci. Sounds fun. I have a coupon for buy 3 sessions get one free. I found them in the waiting room one day. Its good to know that I can mix and match them. I have to give them a call.

Hey Ladies!
Well, it seems that I will be taking another break........ My RE has absolutely NO explanation for my bleeding after the IUI, and wants me to go one more cycle and see if it happens again. DH and I have decided that rather than do that, I am going to do acupuncture, herbs, and meditation for a couple of months, and then retest my FSH and possibly try another IUI around May. Right now I am doing a liver cleanse to get rid of all the synthetic hormones I have been on, and to try and regulate my cycles again. When I told the RE what we had decided, he said, "Well, that's fine, but it's been my experience that the AP and herbs don't really do a lot for infertility." I am choosing not to believe this.........

Oh, and a question- I stopped taking the progesterone last Sunday when I got my BFN, and AF has yet to arrive. Has this happened to anyone else? I am now on about CD40, unless the weird bleeding was her showing up 2 weeks early....????

wtg- just wanted you to know I am thinking about you and hoping everything works out for you....

lola88--it sounds like you are doing a good thing in taking a break from all of the meds. Its a good idea to get cleansed now. AP, herbs and rest are probably a good idea after this last cycle rather jumping into another IUI.

LOLA: I think I am proof that sometimes doctors don't know everything. You know your body and it makes complete sense to detoxify first. Not sure about the cycle stuff, other than it took my body about a week to get back on course after the progesterone. Best wishes....

So.....um....as anti POAS I am, I decided to this morning, 12DPO, so I could go off progesterone, as I am blaming the progesterone for all my pregnancy sx. Except its not the progesterones fault. My digital said "Pregnant" right away. I am being cautiously optimistic. My doc happened to be on call, so I confirmed with him it was not the Hcg trigger. He said its not!!!! Beta and progesterone tomorrow morning. I can't believe this....
