Did I miss K roundup? I'm panicked

It was last week. My girlfriend said, "oh, it's OK, you can send it in afterwards.

I want my kids go to to the local Open Magnet school. I submitted the School Choice form 2 weeks ago (deadline tomorrow). I did NOT realize I had to have the K forms to my neighborhorhood in BEFOREhand.

So if I try to hand in my K application tomorrow (they don't know I am handing in a School Choice form to the District for the Magnet) what can I say?

Beg? OK I'll beg if I have too...

"I know I messed up... please let her in...."

Right now is seems like you have second hand info from someone outside of the system. Seems like the first thing you need to do is call or visit the school office and ask what the process is. If you missed a deadline, then ask if it is too late to submit materials and go from there. Always start with information from the source, then plan from there.

My experience (and this is just our district) is that K round up is just the official beginning of K enrollment, and it usually runs through the rest of the school year. Our district even opens it back up in early August for those late in the game. I would just call the school and find out, chances are you can still get the enrollment turned in.
