Is it normal to have one breast with a fast let down and one with a slower one? I am pumping, and while I get the same amount out of each breast, one empties about 10 minutes faster than the other.
One will empty in 10 minutes, really fast, with no milk coming out after that time, even if I use the letdown button a couple more times.
The other one will let down a bit slower, and take longer to empty completely. I've started to pump the one side longer than the other, because I don't want to encourage one side to have a whole lot more than the other, and I think that pumping the fast breast for 10 minutes after it's empty will do that.
I've only been pumping for a week. Maybe this will even out?
