It was a clear BFP, and then a clear as day BFN. Not a trace of a line. I don't want to get my hopes up for any reason.

I am sorry BelovedK.

SunRise, I have been thinking of you and our babies that should have been born this month.
I hope you have a sticky PG very, very soon.

My big u/s is tomorrow.

Wow, how exciting! Can't wait to hear how it goes. I hope you will share the gender with us?

I need some hope.
She is great and yes is TCM too. The only real change is I don't eat raw foods except for my fruits. But even dried cranberries and nuts I put in my oatmeal to cook them rather than just on top. But that is more for my acid reflux. I am trying to eat healthy and stay away from processed foods, exercise and lose some weight. I am also limiting my caffeine intake as best as I can.

I'm so sorry, BelovedK. May this be about your body gearing up to be all the more ready for the next one to stick and stay. I think TCM is so great. Sounds like a wise route, and a nice way to channel your energy. And grieving I think is so supportive, cleansing, and connecting, too.

Miracle and Wonder, I agree, it is kind of cruel and crazy that pg and AF symptoms are so similar (even though I get the logic of the progesterone). Many of us here have experienced that seeming to be even more exaggerated in this decade of life.

Welcome to all the new 40+ marchers. Pitchfork, it's nice to have another nursing mama here. We aren't the only ones.

Veganmama--very exciting, I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. :

Bhappy, how great to hear you are 8 weeks. Yay! I hope you get through the cold quickly and gently.

Massagingmommy exciting that you'll be trying. TCM is so great. May this be the month it all comes together just right for you and your family.

AFM, I'm on CD8. It's nice to have some no pressure DTD time. I'm excited and nervous about trying again this month.

This breast situation has got to stop. My nipples are so sore they practically tingle and if any fabric brushes against them I want to cry. I had to put on a bra that practically smushes them down to get them to stop aching this morning and nursing is nightmarish. At this point I'm hoping for my period if only for the relief...I can't imagine another 2 months of this. :

I plan to test on Sunday at 11 DPO. I'm so miserable.

I want to thank everyone for helping me get through yesterday. I am a little embarrassed that I ot so upset for losing such an early pregnancy, I had gotten my hopes up so much though

I want to say that I am staking charts, and I am thinking of you all . Good luck to those of you who are testing soon, may you see that line

BelovedK Don't be embarrassed at all. It is upsetting to lose a pregnancy no matter how early or late. I hope you find a great TCM doc and that you oget your sticky bean soon.

VM thinking of you today. Are we finding out gender?
BelovedK, please never be embarrassed here. And it is hard to lose a pregnancy (and all your hopes and dreams for that baby) no matter how early it is.

Yes, we will find out the gender, as long as the baby co-operates. And of course I will let you know!

Pitchfork, I am still nursing my DS once a day (bedtime) and he will be 5 soon.

i'm nursing my almost three year old (and 12 weeks pregnant) too. let me warn you though, she knew i was pregnant before i did. when i was about 10-12 DPO, one night before bed, she pulled off and commented, "empty." that was my first indication to test for pregnancy.

YAY!!! I hope he or she cooperates. Our little grandbaby did not yesterday. Had his/her legs pulled up and feet crossed at the ankles. Maybe next visit. DIL is 22 weeks.

BelovedK, maybe the test was wrong? Could you go in for a beta hcg blood test? I had three negative HPTs when I got pg with ds, but then my beta hcg test was super positive.

Best wishes at the u/s vm. Were you going to do an amnio?

I'm stil waiting for the beta results, but started pink spotting today. I am going to count this as cd1 if it gets any heavier

I am going to choose to look at it in a positive light, another chance starting now.

BelovedK. Kudos to you for having such a good attitude.

I am 13DPO now, and my temp dropped again this morning. I am still just trying not to think about it. I haven't tested because of the temp drops, and because I didn't want to get too caught up in the 10-13 DPO obsessing, KWIM?

Nice to know there are other nursing mamas here. DS is really cutting back more all the time, but still nurses several times day and night. As much as I feel time pressure with being 40 (and DS is older than I) I also have concern for my son's level of need, and managing to meet that pregnant or with a baby...I guess every family adding a child thinks about this to some degree...

thanks for the warm welcome!

I got the results. Beta at level 5, so it could be very early pg, or not pg. Oh well. sigh.

I'm so sorry (((hugs))). It sounds like you had a chemical pregnancy. That is the drawback of testing early, unfortunately. I had that happen too once...I tested positive and then even stronger the next day and then AF showed three days later. I was devastated. It was so unexpected.
BelovedK, chemical pregancies are tough. But it is a good sign that you are fertile. I hope you have a sticky pregnancy very soon.

We are having a boy. Right now I have to admit, I am a little disappointed. I have a girl and a boy and I had hoped to give my DD a sister since I am so close to mine. To top it off, my sister and MIL find DS very challenging so I know THEY are disappointed. Which makes me both mad and makes me feel guilty that I am disappointed too.

I will get over it in a few days I know. And of course, I am very happy to be having a healthy baby. I feel like a sh*t just saying anything about being disappointed at all. But I need to get it out and then move on.
