Although I disagree with the nature of the connection posited here, it is still nice to see a possible connection between vax and allergies mentioned.

So why are children making so much IgE these days? Part of the fault may lie in modern medical practices: with antibiotics and immunizations to protect against micro-organisms and parasites, children's immune systems may be getting weaker and even bored, with little or nothing to fight.

When will people wake up and realize what we are doing to our children's bodies?

This is one of the many pathological damages from vaccination. And this is what the "herd immunity" is all about----a community of vaccinated people with ABNORMAL immune response. Has there been any mutation in peanuts why so many are allergic to it? I guess not. But I am waiting for CDC to come up with something to blame. The reason is not because of too much IgE but the production of pathologic IgE (acute hypersensitivity) as a result of hyperactive humoral immune response being caused by vaccination---this is the kind of immunity the medical community is talking about when someone develops an immune response from vaccines. Of course, they won't tell you that.

I may be interpreting it wrong, but to me they are not blaming the vaccines, but rather the protection derived from vaccines.

To me this reads that vaccines work so well that kids no longer are encountering the diseases which stimulate their immune system so their immune systems are getting weaker. Totally misses the boat IMO. They are not saying vaccines damage the immune system at all (which I believe to be the case)

Vaccines are designed to disable the immune system.

Vaccines, all vaccines, are immune suppressing; that is they depress our immune functions. The chemicals in the vaccines depress our immune system; the virus present depresses immune function, and the foreign DNA/RNA from animal tissues depresses immunity. Toraldo, et al found that the chemotaxis and metabolic function of PMNs (polymorphonuclear neutrophils) was significantly reduced after vaccinations were given and did not return to normal for months. Other indicators of immune system depression included reduced lymphocyte viability, neutrophil hyper-segmentation, and a reduced white cell count.

It isn't totally off the wall to say that missing all childhood illnesses is a bad idea. Our body develops strength by working, an immune system with no opportunities to work could well be undeveloped.

The assumption that children would be better off if they skipped all of the childhood illnesses is just plain silly.

So the vaccines can mess things up in several ways all at the same time. You get all the adjuvants which provide an unnatural stimulation for one arm of the immune system, you get the weakened bugs slipped under the immune system radar, you remove opportunities for normal immune system activation by the normal route and then you say: "hurrah, look at your healthy child!"
