Chunky thighs.

DD has super chunky thighs, so cute!!

Right now we are using prefolds and Hiney Lineys. I like them but, I will soon need to buy new ones, she's growing so fast!

Is there a brand of diaper/cover that fits chunky babies the best?

Ds also has really chunky thighs. I am using prefolds & mommy's touch covers. I find these covers are working really well around his legs 'cause they are so adjustable.

Diapers with aplix closures will permit a much better fit for those chunky child thighs. It is not a fixed setting like the snap covers or diapers and you can modify how tight for your specific needs.

This also applies for babies with thin legs too.

I manufacture both snap and aplix type diapers. I can always count on my aplix diapers providing a much more broad fit range, and a longer wear time because of this flexible feature.

Often chunky thighs are accompanied by a buddha-belly and Aplix can roll up and scratch a tender tummy. I have pretty good luck with Thirsties over prefolds on my chunkster because there is an area of PUL that touches her belly before the velcro does.
I am also a big fan of DryBees (AIOs or pockets) for a good fit on "more-to-love" types of babies.
