FO: Birthday Shirt!

I appliqued this cake onto a long sleeved shirt for my son's second birthday coming up next month. I can't wait to put it on him!!!

I am not sure what happened when I took the pic though. The shirt is really a dark pumpkin color, not a speckled orange. The applique looks like it should though. He wanted to put it on as soon as it was finished, I had to wrestle it out of his hands and hide it.

The candles are just a tight, wide zig-zag stitch. I am a total dork and thinking of making one for me too, since we share our birthday.
