I'm waiting to know! Move me to the 2WW...section. I'm trying not to make myself nuts by analyzing every twinge, ache, taste, desire or general level of energy! Oh, and being too neurotic about one of our dogs behaviour--last go round (before I m/c) he started acting strange around me (perhaps we could rent him out as an inexpensive pregnancy test!). We used biotranz and it seems improbable that we could actually get pregnant that way--we'll see.
Oh, and I'm amused by the name of this thread--Papa, I like your optimism! Best of luck to all!
It's a great name for the thread Thanks, papa!

Good luck wishin&hopin!

And to everyone else.

I'm really hoping for a BFP this month...I would have been due March 4 (ish) if I hadn't had the first m/c. That seems strange.

lots to say about this, but mostly it is SO hard to be happy and excited given that this is pregnancy #4 with TTC#2.

one funny thing: Katie didn't believe there was a second line so I had to POS in order to show what a real negative is, how there is not even a slight shade of a line when it's neg. probably the only pregnancy test I'll ever take!

very cautious over here.....

Wow!! Congratulations!! : I hope this one works out for you and that you have a happy and uneventful pregnancy

intro and 2ww

Have been reading this board for several months - had some registration/access issues but I think it's all worked out now.

This is our second cycle - two vials (frozen) last month with BFN. Have done two inseminations (Sat and Sun) and one more tonight. So I guess I'm somewhat in the 2ww but will officially be there as of tonight!

Great to have this resource - lots of good info here. Thanks!

Megin and Katie for a sticky babe and an uneventful 9 months for you both.

Papa Thanks for the thread!

chicagoml Welcome! May your stay be short.

I'm supposed to be picking up our tank today after 3PM, but as I haven't made it to my office yet due to snow and the inability of my city to plow my roads, I don't know if I can get out early enough to make it to the bank before 5... We'll see. Can we be done with winter now? :
congrats megin and katie!!! : fx for a sticky babe! stick to the pole little one.

welcome chicagoml.

papa, thanks for taking the thread again this month.

afu, i'm at home sick with some sinus gunk probably due to my lack of sleep last week while on-call. ugh. dp is 7dpo today and should have her tsh tested (and free t4 for the love of god i hope we get the right test this time) on monday or tuesday of next week in time for af arriving. that way we will know if we can try in march or not w/o waiting until next friday when it will most certainly be too late. i have a feeling her tsh will still be too low....and i hope they take her off the synthroid w/o trying 3 weeks at 50mg.

i'm off to drink some emergen-c, water, hot tea and wrap the heating pad around me. ugh again.

Megin & Katie!!!!! : ::

Stick to the pole, little bean!!!

Kat - I know what you mean! As donor boy says in an e-mail this morning "Let's hope you don't ovulate tonight" we're completely snowed in, I'm not going nowhere.
Megin...Katie...congrats!!!! ::::

Sending all the sticky vibes I have your way!!!! ::::
Megin and Katie- Yay for BFPs, and many, many, many wishes that this is a happy, healthy, sticky one!
FTMpapa - great name. and thanks for doing it!

Megin and Katie - So happy for you! I'll indulge in enough unrestrained joy for you both! :

AFU - We got a positive OPK today!!! So we are going to go ahead and insem today - and maybe tomorrow, and maybe even the next day - I'm drunk on the freedom of sperm on tap!

thanks!

Thanks for adding me to the list and for welcoming me to the forum. I've come here to read about lots of topics/issues. Echoing what was said earlier - hope it's a short stay. So far we're having fun with the whole process - hopefully we can maintain that sense of humor for as long as necessary!

Hi all - still lurking here even though I imagine I'll be quiet this month. Thanks to everyone for your support. I'm really hoping to O before I head to OH for the memorial but think it's really unlikely. I'll keep you guys up to date on how that works out. In the meantime move me to waiting to O and cross your fingers it's not a 6 week wait

MeginCL - I'm so excited for you! : Lots and lots of sticky vibes your way. This would be an amazing start to the month for the group

ChicagoML - welcome to both the list and the TWW - let's keep the BFPs coming!

Indigoscot - I hope you feel better soon and I'll keep my fingers crossed that the lab dos the right test this round!

PF - I hope your TWW goes quickly - I hope the new donor does the trick and we see a BFP from you this month

Katherine - : here's hoping the weather let's you get your tank

W&H - glad you have lots of twinges to obsess over - How many DPO are you?

Papa - Are you doing anything different this month? I'm secretly hoping your keeping track of temps and such after last month's roller coaster. Hope you O after the snow melts!
Hi again everyone. March was supposed to be our month, but things have been pushed back since we've decided I'll be carrying DP's eggs. There's a whole bucket of crazy we have to go through with the clinic since we're both also donating eggs, so we will be working on stuff/taking tests/having consultations but probably won't actively be TTC till May or June. Kind of a bummer, but I'm excited about our new plans.

I'll still be lurking around and cheering y'all on, though! And hopefully you'll all be long gone from the list by the time my chance rolls around!

Welcome, chicagoml

Good luck to those of you insem'ing over the next few days! (or when the snow melts!)

I'm on CD7, nothing exciting...heading to acupuncture again on Wednesday and hoping for an earlier O this month. KD is on standby from March 9 - 16. After my rant about how I hate opks and that they never work for me, blah blah blah. I just received 50 of them in the mail. Oops, forgot I had ordered them I think I just like having something to do...it makes me feel like I'm in control or something!
Congrats Megin and Katie!! I laughed when I read about you both doing the whole POS thing. My DP and I did that to when she conceived our little one just to prove that *yes* we really were seeing a line.

I just want to say how helpful it is being a part of this group and reading about everyone's widely varying experiences with inseminating. It really helps me feel like I'm "normal" - whatever that means!

I can't inseminate this month, sigh, because I'm traveling to give a talk (that ironically helps to fund the inseminations). It's nice to track everyone's progress and know that I'm not the only one "on hold" this month.

Just a question - does anyone else drink caffeine on their months "off"? I'm going back and forth on whether or not I should...
Cejae-- ahh the caffeine question!! I went off it 6 + years ago for our first, and never went fully back on, but this year I started a new job, and those half-caff mochas on tough afternoons call to me!! And I admit that yes, I do indulge in the half- caff mochas/coffees when I am on an off month. Though I don't think I did in the first year we were TTC.... it's just that now we're up to 2.5 years, so I've had enough of not getting what I want (wow, do I sound like a 2 year old or what??!!).

I will sometimes have a regular coffee or latte on a weekend and I don't feel it affects my health negatively. However, I would never go back to coffee every day. I had terrible headaches for about 4 days when I first gave it up and I do feel better when I'm not drinking it.
