well, I think we're back in waiting to o
DP started bleeding for real today after brown spotting a few times in the past week or so. at the hardware store of all places.
We totally thought she was preggers. I hate prometrium right now.

i agree that prometrium is evil. my first try i took it and was SO certain i was pregnant. of course, it was a bfn. on dp's first try she took it and we were SO certain she was pregnant too. i'm so sorry you had to go through that. many hugs.

Building a mystery

Hmmm, it's largely because from the 6 pregnancy tests I purchased I only have one left (but haven't taken one since Thursday ) ! That said, NO symptoms and NO AF. I'm wondering if it's because I'm vegan for Lent and seriously cut back on caffeine? I'm not terribly optimistic but figure that's okay (plus, if it happens next month I'll have a Christmas babe...not like I'm busy or anything that time of year!).

Sorry to hear about the AF Mizsatisfied--it's so frustrating and such a HUGE bummer when you think you are and you aren't.

f/x for all.

Sorry, MzSatisfied.

I don't know if prometrium is the same, but the goop sticks I used 3 X / day for two weeks, a few times, drove me crazy. Hot flashes were the worst part. I can't remember if they made me think it worked, but they drove me nuts in all sorts of ways.

AFM - I'm on spring break, the new dog is distracting me from the realities of the 2ww. I think I said I'd start testing Wednesday, on 10ish DPO.

All y'all in the 2ww - get a dog. Get one who doesn't know how to do anything except sit. Spend two weeks training him. Notice that he still doesn't know anything except sit and anything in a ziploc is a slice of hot dog.

FF is saying I O'd on CD18, last Friday. Which is when I was guessing I would O. Hopefully I O'd later in the evening so our timing would be good

Sheesh, this has been 3 months in a row that I've been in a panic about when I'll O. I will officially learn from this and not do it again....really!

That makes me 3DPO...I'm planning on testing on Wed. the 25th (12DPO).

DP thinks this one worked. I'm with her.

mizsatisfied : Sorry about the dashing of hopes. It sucks.

Carmen: I hope your DP is right! Timing looks excellent.

Papa: If this cycle doesn't work I will definitely talk to DW about a dog... it will have to be a sneaky apartment dog, but still. Good luck with the TWW and the training.

wishin'&hopin': Good luck holding out till Wednesday! I hope it's good news.

BFN again this morning. We're at 11 or 12 DPO and my temp was still up this morning. So I'm just twiddling my thumbs. I really wish I had a consistent LP like people are supposed to have. My LP seems to normally be 10-11 days, but occasionally is 13 or 14. So I can't even say for sure that I'm "late" until Friday. I'll test again tomorrow in hopes that DW can jump up and down before her surgery, but will probably wait a day or two if it's neg tomorrow.

Thanks everybody for the hugs!!
and I like the idea about the dog, Papa. Actually, DP has been begging for baby goats for like 3 months. Since we already have a giant, slightly special rottweiler mix who is almost 10 (and my baby, always), I am a lttle hesitatnt. not sure if he would try to eat the goats.
good luck to everyone!
to add to the confusion, AF seems to have left the building after last night's heavy bleeding.
now what does that mean????
so DP is at work trying to decide whether to keep taking the prometrium or not.
maybe getting hopes up again? maybe not?

Can I join you?

I'm a queer femme adoptive mom to two (2 and 4) with my partner of 9 years. I'm also recently the lady-equivalent of a known donor for my two gay male friends (or more clearly, their traditional surrogate) and I'm in my first ever 2ww after doing insems a week ago.

I'm 7dpo today and have no willpower whatsoever in the POAS dept. Not surprisingly I'm testing negative so far, but we all have our fingers crossed that this cycle works. If it doesn't, I plan to get more serious about tracking my cycle -- so far I've only been using OPKs and monitoring my CM.

Looking forward to seeing even more bfps here!

welcome binyasa!!! i hope you get your bfp this cycle! what an incredible gift.

afu, we finally heard back from our re's nurse. AWESOME NEWS!!!! we are definitely trying this month! holy crap! : i'm feeling a little overwhelmed because i was so sure there would be another reason to make us wait and now omg in a week or so we'll be in the 2ww again! dp is to stay on her 75mg dose of synthroid. our follicle check day is cd13 - march 23rd. if we see high on the cbem before that we have to call in. we also clarified where all our appts will be - it's a different office for the insems than the one we usually go to. we have 2 more days of letrozole and then we just hope those follicles grow!

mizsatisfied, any update from you? Is AF still missing?

I'm at 4DPO. Nothing too exciting to report in term of real or imagined symptoms. I had a bit of cramping yesterday but it's gone today. I'm also a bit dizzy today but sometimes I get that from sitting in front of the computer at work all day. Overall, I feel great and optimistic.

Indigo - SO HAPPY FOR YOU!! Waiting is so so so so hard. I'm glad you two are finally getting in the game. Hope this is the one and only month you need.

Welcome new people!

AFU - we've had a rough couple of days. I tested on Fri - 10 DPO and it was negative. Then I tested Mon - 13 DPO and we got a very deceptive evap line. It was very very thin and took a while to show up - not sure if longer than 10 mins, but def more than 3 mins. It looked blue to me, but could have been gray...I don't know. So we tested again today with a digital and it was a BFN. Now I'm feeling crampy and AF-ish. So I'm pretty bummed. Evap lines are evil evil evil things.

Hmmm. Are you sure it was an evap line? Do you normally have this long of a luteal phase? If no and no, it sounds to me like something is happening.

PF-- I agree with carmen. It takes a lot to get the digitals to show up BFP. I'm still keeping my fx for you!
