Tomorrow will be kids to school, dermatologist, lunch meeting with UMN faculty, go to UNM preschool to sign up C, post office to mail taxes, pick up kids, homework, dinner, confernece call for Midwifery Foundation....bath nd bed it goes on and on. Then work on Thursday, you know, where I get my break....laundry so does not fit into the plan. I guess that is why it is piled high on my futon.

So I called about UNM's pre-K program today and was told they don't haven't opened up registration yet and that they aren't accepting applications until May. Did I just talk to someone who had no clue, or what?

Wow makes my days look tame and boring.

M was up last night, saying it like that doesn't sound so bad, so innocent, she was up ALL NIGHT. I'm breaking the no coffee rule.

I was told to come by and fill out the form and that they do the class lists in the summer. There is no guanantee. I will pick up an extra one to day if I can.

They HAVE to get in. Its the only way my plan works.

Eman, sorry M was up all night.

ASF, S will be in school on Fridays too, but I think I'll be taking her out for half days so we can go to playgroup. And at least one Friday a month, I think they don't have school (or maybe it's just half day.)

Library story time today at 11. After that we get to clean the house (oh joy!)

Eman- So sorry M was up. Is she teething?

Ugh, I'm sick. I didn't get the last round of colds, so I got a stomach virus instead.: Feeling a bit better this morning.

Emans, here's the books B has been reading lately -

Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, the first book is The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

The 39 Clues series, first book is The Maze of Bones by Rick Riordan. This series has only (as of today) 3 books out so far. I think they are all by different authors

Leven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo by Obert Skye. I think this has a few books in the series too. I haven't read this one yet.

Another series that's an easier read but really funny is the Dragonslayer's Academy series by Kate McMullan and Bill Basso.

And has E read Spiderwick yet? It was a great confidence builder for B. They are short books - I think there were four in the series.

If I think of anymore, I'll let you know. Now back to the couch for me...

Any plans for tomorrow?

COMommy, hope you feel better soon!

Blue, we made some sourdough bread today and even though I'm pretty sure I killed the yeast (it didn't rise at all!) it turned out lovely, dense, but lovely! Thank you so much for the starter!

I'll host for playgroup tomorrow.

I met with the CNM program coordinator today. I cant officially start till May 2010 (provided I get in) but I think I can take enough classes to keep C in the day care. I filled out her pre-K form today.

Then I went and bought some earings I dont need!

Hope everyone is feeling better!

Anything going on Friday?

i know i am laaaaaame - but i mainly went for a - the scalp massage, b - big c to get her hair cut and c - to try some product for baby c - he has the craziest curls and well, with big c i just put it in pigtails but for some reason dh doesnt want me to do that to baby c

doularn - i wonder if you were at unmcc when my mom was there volunteering...

i really wish i had the time/energy to start my own freakin charter school

it would be:
multi-age ala NACC
have knitting/gardening gentle discipline ala MM
be bilingual ala CD
teach violin ala TMES
*sigh*

tonight me and the kids - played outside in the cul-de-sac - little C RAN after big C pushing his little push toy while she drove her powerwheels. then he PUSHED her in the powerwheels. Then we came inside and danced around to moni moni and wipeout and bad to the bone. then we made choco chip cookies. Baby c is now passed out and dd is semi comatose on the couch. good times good times.

Yes, one class at a time is really my speed. I took two classes when I was single and it whipped my butt.

Mama Mia is coming to Popejoy Hall the 24th.
But I think we'll wait and take the girls to see Pippi Longstocking in April at the Kimo instead.

ASF, I was thinking similar thoughts. A charter school where Mamas and little siblings were welcome too. LOL

Pippilongstocking is "only" ten bucks a ticket, I'm really hoping to go. There is also something called Pinkalious, that I think R would find fun.
