feeling wet for naps

Thread Starter
So with DS I started cloth diapering around 8 months, so I could pretty well predict when he would nap and diaper him accordingly.

I'd liek to use cds from the beginning with new babe due in May, but am worried about baby feeling wet during naps and waking.

I was planning on mostly prefolds and covers. I guess my options would be stay dry liners? Anything else? I'd have to use them all the time though...

Tips?

Anyone know where to find single layer organic velour liners?

I think you're right on that you would need to use stay dry liners to keep your baby's bottom dry. You could use polyester fleece ones (bumGenius! liners are nice), but also raw silk liners (Better for Babies and bumGenius! make great ones).

I think you're really onto something with a single layer velour liner! I only know of Better for Babies' 2-layer organic velour doubler, but there must be other ones! Velour is great at keeping babies' bottoms dry, too.

One thing is that your baby might not be super sensitive to wetness, so you might not need to use liners with every diaper. Maybe just for night time and naps? That would be easy to do! Then you'd only need a handful.

Good luck, and congratulations!
