How many pregnancy tests have you taken?

I think I'm obsessed. In my defense though, this was an unplanned (but a very welcomed!) pregnancy so I am probably in a little more shock than most people!

Anyway--I took 2 regular pregnancy tests on Friday (that have the plus sign) and got very very very faint results. So I got a digital test that evening and it was a big fat positive!

Then today I decided to do one more (I had bought a box of three) since it had been 3 days and this time the plus sign was very dark! I still have one more digital test too. And yes--I am going to do it again too in a couple days because I want to take pictures of it!!!

Is anyone else this obsessed!?

: I have mine lined up in front of me at the computer. I think they are beautiful, as they go from light on dpo11 to darker and darker each day. I have one more to take tomorrow am. And then I think I might be convinced that I truely am pregnant.

Everyone keeps asking how many or if it has been "verified", telling me it might be wrong. It's not, I'm confident.

ETA: I certainly don't think you all are crazy though! I am irritated with everyone insinuating that it's not real until it's "verified" though.

I only took 1 with my first ds. And as soon as I got the first BFP with my other kids, I didn't take anymore.

So far one. I know if I had more in the house I would've taken them for sure! I am a cheapskate though and won't buy more. I am really looking forward to going to the dr. on Friday though to have another. I think it is also because this was not planned, so I just can't quite fathom it being real and want another person to tell me I'm pregnant!

Incidentally, I took a digital, and this morning the beautiful "pregnant" word is all gone Sadness! With my 2-line test from DD, I still have it saved in my nightstand drawer!! Oh well - at least I snapped a couple of pics of the digital so I know it really happened!!

With both DD's I only took one. I think because I've seen so many BFN's the last few months that I like seeing the BFP's every morning. It makes up somehow for the mornings where all I was doing was staring at a blank stick hoping to see a faint line somewhere on there.

I took eight . In my defense, seven were Dollar Tree tests and set to expire in a couple of months anyway. Then I went and got a fancy-pants digital test so I could show DH the actual word, because I thought it would be more exciting that way. I still have a few of the fancy digital tests. I will probably give them away on Freecycle once I am out of the first trimester.

I have taken 5 tests so far and have 2 more.
I took 4 yesterday, at 10 dpo, none of them where FMU :
blue dye test - got a faint positive
FRER - clear as day positive
Digital - said not pregnant
took last blue dye test - and it was a darker positive just a few hours after the first one

Today I took the last FRER I had and it was positive again.

I have a dollar one for tomorrow and the second digital I am holding off until a day after my missed period.

I only took one (FRER) It was a clear line. I think I will test again though , just to make sure the lines are getting darker. I am a worrier, and sometimes find it hard to believe I am really BFP

I took 15. I know, rediculous. I have ben TTC for over 3 years. This was our 2nd attempt at In Vitro. I have never in my life seen a preganncy test turn positive. Because I went thru In Vitro, I constantly have to get blood drawn to make sure my HCG is doubling appropriately. So, I keep taking HPTs to make sure my line gets darker faster. I promised my husband that I would not take anymore and that I would just start enjoying being pregnant.

I did 4. The first was only seven days after my insemination, I knew it'd be negative but I had to try, then I did another one (also negative) 3 days later, then another one (Our 1st BFP) the next day and then the final one (also a BFP) the morning of my official doctor office blood test! :-)
We also took pics of the digital positive "pregnant" test, since it only lasts on there for 24 hours!

I know how you feel! I keep taking them just to see the prettiest site ever, too!!

geeking out on tests

Well after reading all of your stories I feel like I can totally relate. I took a dollar store test and didn't know about the faint line phenomenon. I had an astrology reading that day from a friend and he said," astrologically it looks like you will have a baby by the end of the year is there any chance your prego?" And I said, "well I don't think so I took a test before I cam over and it only had a faint line." he said, " a line is a line, you are pregnant!" Oh and so I learn. So I took another one the next day and the same thing, faint. I had already missed my period by a few days though (and that has never happened in my whole life) so I had to know so I ran out and bought the digi ones and in like 10 seconds bam PREGNANT. I took a pick like many of you ladies.
How fun is this!!!!

I've only taken the one test so far, but the kit I bought came with two tests. Hoping to go for blood tests later today or sometime this week to look at my hcg's and progesterone.
