contact rash f/ketchup and interesting chat w/pendulum

So my baby all of a sudden got a big bright red patch on her cheek of her face yesterday, complete with a couple of little white spots that look like hives. My son was eating shredded cheese so I wondered if she had gotten some. I called it to the attention of my dh, who said he'd just been kissing her face right where it was very red. Now it was Sunday, and he works from home, so he was pretty scruffy, but still, this was like an allergic rash. I put some Rescue Remedy lotion on it which usually calms her skin but it didn't. Then we realized that my dh was in the process of eating chicken which he was dipping in ketchup. We wondered if he had ketchup on his mouth or scruffy face when he kissed the baby. I got a wash cloth and wiped her face off really, really well. I then took a key hanging on a string and went up to my room to be away from the littles who would try to grab it.

I asked the pendulum if my dd had eaten cheese and got a rash. It immediately started saying "No", I didn't wait for it to get going really well. I then asked if she got ketchup on her face that caused a rash, and it immediately said "Yes". By the time I went back downstairs, her face was almost back to normal.

People don't get ana from tomatoes, do they?

Before I went down though I figured I was on a roll, so asked if kefir was good for my older dd (age 7) (I have her on some organic, cow's milk store bought kefir) and it said, "Yes". Then I asked if wheat was safe for her, it said "Yes". Then I asked if corn syrup and corn starch were good for her. It said "No". Then I asked if soy was good for her. It said "No". Then I asked if the digestive enzymes were good for her. It said, to my surprise, "No". I asked if I should get her the Enzymedica Kids Digest digestive enzymes and it said, "No". Then I asked if all she needed was probiotic foods. It said, "Yes".

Now I have come to fear dairy and wheat and see them as evil so automatically wanted to take my older dd off of those and see if that improved her asthma and poor weight gain. Our practitioner didn't think I should (she's on a year sabbatical now). When dd was impacted for the second time in Jan I took her to a different chiro, who did muscle testing and found corn and soy were to be avoided for her (and possibly cinnamon which was tested w/other spices at the same time). I was doubting this. Now that is what the pendulum said for her!

I've had her on Digest Gold Enzymedica enzymes trying to get her cleaned out. At times her stools have gotten too loose. I'm trying to avoid the miralax. Not sure what to do here.

Comments or suggestions?

Well, it sounds like you have good reason to avoid soy and corn for her. Personally, I'd still be careful about dairy and wheat. Maybe just cultured forms of dairy (yogurt, kefir) and not straight milk. Wheat, maybe just sparingly, or at least, when you get to baseline, do a trial of it. That's just me, though. If you feel good about the crystal, then, go for it

I think people can be ana to anything, but I doubt the tomato is leading toward an ana reaction. Could it have been a contact reaction on her skin. That's very common with tomatoes.

Yeah, we mostly avoid dairy except the kids are on yogurt. I had even tried to get rid of that but brought it back, and now the kefir for my 7 yr old. And of course ice cream. And we have all but done away w/wheat. We are a rice eating family now. But no one in the family is strictly off of anything except the baby and me, and that is very, very strict avoidance of wheat, dairy and more.

I never ever have opportunity to do pendulum testing. But it is so interesting when I get the chance. One of the things about it that bothers me though is that my dh and I have got conflicting answers when we've each asked it the same question for the baby.

My poor dd(age 7) tried to use the pendulum yesterday as well but her arm got too tired too quickly.

Also, with the 7 yr old, it will be near impossible to tell when she is at "baseline". I guess if she reached a normal weight and had good lung capacity tests done at her asthma clinic then we would know. I have a hard time believing we could get there, though.
Any thoughts on the enzymes???
