wrap sling for hot weather

I used a moby wrap for ds#2 when he was a newborn to about 6 months, but he was born in november. I really hate being hot and I'm due in July. I would love to do another wrap sling and was looking at some: gypseymama and ellaroo as well as storchinwedge (sp?) though the last is a little pricey. I was wondering which ones are favorites but also which one is the coolest. I have 2 older children and I anticipate wearing this baby A LOT so coolness and comfortable are very important. Other suggestions great too.
Thanks!

Our LO isn't here yet, but I asked my friend the same question. She recommended these:

They are made of lightweight crinkle cotton. She loves her mobys but says these are perfect for the summer months, and they are less stretchy than the moby so she uses them for much longer. They are also a bit less expensive than some of the other woven wraps out there.

HTH!

I would get the gypsy mama bali baby breeze. I've had one. They're cool and really supportive.

Thanks for the replies! A lot of moms I know think it's silly to buy a wrap when they are easy to make, but I find fabric a little intimidating.

anyone else want to chime in?

I am also due July and am trying to decide between the two gypsy wraps (bali breeze or bali stretch) or a sleepywrap. I have an ella roo wrap but i'm thinking it will be to hot to use befor Oct/Nov.

I also saw this loveyduds wrap but don't know how well it's made or how it compares.

Gauze or something thin like an Ellaroo or Vatani would work great for summer. All of these are made with the gauze/crinkled cotton - Bali Baby Breeze, WrapnWear, Calin Bleu, and Loveyduds, so from these I'd just select the ones in my price range and the colors I like.

I second this suggestion!! The gauze is a nice material for hot weather and isn't as pricey as some of the other wraps out there!

I loved my Gypsy Mama Bali Breeze last year and it was very cool. If your LO is on the big side and/or you have a bit more to spend, you might like a Vatani, since they are more supportive, and the Maruyama colourway is YUMMY!

Thanks for all of this great info, Mamas. I can't wait to need a wrap, too!

I have a Moby and a Bali Breeze. We used the Moby exclusively with our older son and then with our second son for the first year(he was born in April). I just scrunched the part that was over my shoulders and wore camis all summer and it wasn't a big deal. As he got a little bigger I got a Bali Breeze and I love it. I think it would be great for summer and it does last longer with an older kiddo.
