Prenatal vitamins? - Page 2

I got mine from my midwife. They are from a company called "Integrative Therepeutics, Inc.", and the name of them is "Prenatal Forte".. a daily prenatal multiple with digestive support.

My friend who had her baby in November says she "swears by these". Hopefully I'll have a good experience on them too.

With my last pregnancy I did a lot of thinking and researching and realized two things:
1--the vitamins that are cheap are synthetic forms of the nutrients and are not very absorbable (ie, it's expensive pee)
2--the vitamins that are absorbable are expensive and are made from stuff like spinach and carrots.

SO, I just ate a healthy diet, and I took a folic acid supplement (because I think that's a harder one to get enough of from natural sources and I wanted to make sure I didn't skimp). I also took Red Raspberry Leaf throughout my pregnancy.
