Whether it's aseptic, bacterial or viral meningitis does not matter. It only means one thing----brain damage.

Since you claim they ALL cause meningitis, I assume you can show how the three I linked above cause meningitis.

They never say causality has been determined there, though.

we can easily see that an MMR vaccine, which is live, can cause an infection and lead to other infections--etcetc. That is a live vaccine and I do not think anyone here would deny the risks associated with live vaccination.

I think everyone here is just wanting some evidence for a claim so large as "all vaccines cause meningitis". that's a big stretch....

and I also don't get how you can argue this and then also argue all the anti germ theory stuff....

Yup. These three vaccines you gave, Hib, HepA and HepB have one thing in common, which is GBS----a "glorified" meningitis.

GBS is not the same thing as meningitis.

ok, so you just are changing the terms again. basically, you can say and claim anything you want because you define all the terms.

okies, someone hit me if I come back to this thread.

Meningitis Shot May Hold Higher GBS Risk
ATLANTA (AP) ―

Young people who get a new meningitis shot may be at a slightly higher risk of developing a paralyzing side effect, federal researchers said Thursday.

Even so, federal health officials said the benefits far outweigh the risk of getting the rare condition, Guillain-Barre syndrome. They are not backing off their recommendation that most students be vaccinated.

I see your point because there is an overlap is some symptoms of both. There are a number of researchers who claim polio symptoms did not really disappear, that they just renamed them GBS and aseptic meningitis.

So one of your basic arguments is simply the fact that we are looking for diagnostic terms such as meningitis, when it is better to just look for specific symptoms or clusters?

When they test the CSF of those with meningitis symptoms, do they always check for Hib? Is that the standard? Is Hib easy to culture?

Also, if someone is not on antibiotics and has not received a Hib vaccine, do you think it possible for Hib to appear in the CSF?
