Alternatives to Ezzo?

My DP has managed to convince the publisher who publishes "Babywise" in Norway to discontinue it

They now sent him a mail asking what he would like them to go for instead of it. They would like something Christian. Neither of us are Christian so we have absolutely no idea what to suggest as we haven't read any Christian babybooks.

So does anyone have any suggestions?
I do believe they want something mainstream, but we wouldn't feel right reccomending any book that advocates CIO.
I'd love to go for a really crunchy AP book, but I really don't think they would publish that.

One of the Sears' first books was Christian Parenting and Child Care. Great book. I don't think it's currently in publication here so you may not be able to get it. It was originally published in 1985. It has now morphed into The Baby Book, without the Christian aspect. Similar to Growing Kids God's Way turned into Babywise. Think the Sears were first, but not 100% on that.
Good luck and good for your DP!

There's a thread in Gentle Discipline if you do a search that has several christian gentle discipline book recs. Sears' book was the first one that popped in my mind also.

Thank you both
I'll do a search. I'd love for them to publish a Sears book

That's great! I am glad they agreed to stop publishing it. That doesn't mean Ezzo won't go looking for another publisher, but it's a start.

I'll be SO glad when those books go OOP.

I second the suggestion for Dr. Sears Christian Parenting book. Sounds like a much better alternative.
