So I started the b12 drops for myself. Like you said. Add water and have a few drops every once and a while. I'm also doing the orakidney & the ora-adrenal, which I had been doing before.

At the same time DS has become very emotionally "fragile". He freaks out over everything. Throws things. Throws tantrums. Gets into inconsolable fits. He was leaning this way before but now it is worse. Could this be caused by me taking hte b12? I'm still trying to figure out how to get the pancreatic supports into him.

I have no clue on the b12, though it sounds likely.

Did he eat your homemade gummies? I bet you could get some PNO in them without it affecting the taste, especially if you don't try and hide anything else. That's always my downfall - trying to put too much stuff and too little sweetness in there and overdoing it.

Shannon, did you put the gummy recipe in the meal thread?

He did not like the gummies but I think it was too dilute. I bet if I made lemonade gummies he'd eat them.

I know I posted somewhere, but I don't remember where (hiding supps maybe?)

Hmm - yeah, sounds like he's reacting, but it could be because he's now getting more B12 via nursing? Shannon, does B12 pass via bm? If you can handle the reaction, I'd ride it out for a few days, and see if it gets better.

Yeah, pretty much all the vitamins increase through milk, though for some there's a cap, and for others it's more about moms status than current intake.

It's also possible, though, that if the b12 is stirring stuff up for mom, that could be passing through as well. One test would be if b12 directly to ds does the same thing.

Ok, I'll try that. What day did you say you could babysit?

I'll take yours if you take mine!

Chlobo, I thought I'd added this last night, but I don't see it. Behavioral reactions are classic for viral detox - that's what we hit when we added B12. I bet your son is getting enough B12 via breastmilk that it's giving his body a start on attacking the hypothesized virus (maybe strep) that's causing such trouble in his adenoids. The reaction you're describing in him is classic on the Yasko forums when people are trying to get rid of strep.

LMAO. Shannon's right though - try taking giving him B12 directly, see what happens (I know, I know - trust me, btdt and paid the price )

Well, wouldn't it be grand if that was the case. Some healing on the way.

And I did actually give him some directly on the first day. I had made a small glassful and was taking dropperfuls. I gave him a dropperful. Maybe I'll try more.

I'm guessing you kicked off some detox for him. I'd keep giving him little bits - if it is viral detox, it will not be fun AT ALL, but it might be really good in the long run.

Don't increase dose for either of you until you see the initial detox subside.
