Hi! I have a 15 month old son born November 2007 and I started charting a bit this past December...we're still nursing, and I haven't been on birth control since before I got PG with my son, but hadn't gotten pregnant before, even though I started getting AF at 10 wks post partum, so I figured it was a long shot. But I'm 5 days late for this month's AF, and the past 3 months I've had very regular periods. Anyway, I have yet to POAS (hopefully do that tonight), but I do have some pregnancy symptoms, so if I am pregnant, the due date would be Nov 6 or 8 depending on the calculator I've used. My son's due date was Nov 11 Anyway, I look forward to joining you all once I get my test results. When I was pregnant with my son, I didn't even know about Mothering, I was on a mainstream birth board...and I am looking forward to sharing experiences with more like-minded women this time around! :

Hehe

Thanks!!

Yeah, I wasn't really absolutely Trying to conceive..I just wanted to start to take a look at how my cycles were, chart them, see ifthey were regular and think about TTC. Since the days were all different...Dec 11, Jan 6, Feb 1...something didn't click and I was thinking things are still irregular. I logged on my monthly cycle website on March 1 thinking I should be getting AF soon (not on the 1st, but soon, bc Feb is a short month afterall), let me see what day exactly...and realized it was supposed to be te 27th of Feb! Looked into things deeper and realized I have an exactly 16 day cycle every time! So 5 days late def means something... Yesterday I was watching the big season finale of the Bachelor so I didn't get out to go buy a test, but will for sure tonight!

Negative

Well I POAS (dollar tree) tonight and got a BFN! Negative! I was quite surprised. Not completely disappointed (we hadn't truly been TTC), but what happened to AF?? I don't know when I might have ovulated last month, but the start date of my LMP was Feb 1, so the results should have shown up by now, right? Anyway, I'm going to test tomorrow's "morning pee" and confirm the results, but looks like I probably won't be joining you guys here afterall!

Good Luck in the morning. I haven't used the dollar tree tests, maybe they aren't as sensitive?

Thanks

Well it was still negative this morning. I did see a very faint line, but I think it is the evap line (but its more than I saw last night, maybe better lighting). I still dont' see AF and have no PMS symptoms, so maybe it is just a fluke cycle *shrug*

Anyway, if I don't end up getting AF, I'll keep testing every few days. If anything happens, I'll be back! Otherwise, I wish you all the best of luck with your pregnancies!!! :
