I attended a Chiropractic conference this weekend and I was alarmed to hear about a new test to detect depression in new mothers. This test is given within 3 days of birth and seems to be another way to force drugs on the population. Please call your US House of Representatives @ 202-224-3121 and tell them not to vote for

It looks like that bill died in committee in 2007. Unless it's been reintroduced?

There is a lot of misinformation about that bill, and unless new stuff was added to it lately, I read the whole text of it and there was nothing about mandatory screenings or mandatory treatment - pharma or otherwise. It's just about funding programs that are to help pregnant and new mothers including screening, counseling, and pharmaceuticals. Might put money in the wrong place but it does not restrict your choice.
