It might be good for you to study up on Natural Family Planning, which will explain the BBT changes with your cycle. (Even if you are not interesting in using it for family planning, you can tell if you have normal temp variations for your cycle, or if they are indicating hypothyroid (or hyperT). FWIW, your chart looks like a normal female cyclical chart. There is a deep dip on the one temp pre-ovulation there, but since it doesn't look like it's happening all the time and the post ovulation temps are reasonably high, it's probably normal. I wouldn't dwell on one off-looking temp.
Is this a normal (non-pg.) temp chart for you? Really what you want to look for is variations from YOUR normal, and also a pattern of always generally lower(or higher)-than typical temps (say if you are always below 97 or something like that. |
Anyway, I don't know what is normal for me is my point. I'm confident in my charting abilities w/o temping (reading cervix opening & positioning and cervical fluid) so I don't know what my temps are like now. I don't even have a BBT Thermometer anymore.

I have a clue what's going on, but I immobilize myself with second-guessing... I have that "there's always more to know" attitude and often feel like I can't do anything until I know the whole picture... Guess that's my perfectionism breaking through again.
