Hoover Wind Tunnel bagged or bagless?

Help! I love the idea of bagless because I hate bags, and buying them. But people say that you can spill the dust emptying a bagless vacuum.

I have a hoover bagless. It's a good vacuum and is going strong after 8yrs.

Yes, the dumping of the canister is awful. You can look at the filter in the store. Basically I use a small paint brush to clean out the filter. I do my best to do this outside, but since moving to the midwest, I have to do it indoors in the winter. All in all, I just have to vacuum up the dust afterwards so not the end of the world. I still prefer doing that than using a bag where you keep that old dust and crud.

Bagless. We have the one with bags, and I hate it.

Phew. Now I have justification to buy the bagless. And if my husband hates it I'll tell him the internet told me bagless was better

'spilling the canister' = not a big deal. in 12 years, i've never spilled the canister. sometimes it's dusty, but i wouldn't even say it's worthy of complaining about!

bagless is better because no 'bags' = no waste
filter is easy to clean out
