Seaking *green* preschool in Los Angeles !

i will be moving to LA end of this year and until now my daughter (just turned 3 yrs.) has been joining a "waldkindergarden" in germany (for info see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wood_kindergarten ), meaning they are outdoors all day long (6 hours).

is there anything similar in LA?

You could buy "Coping with Preschool Panic" which is all about West LA preschools, I believe.

Both the Sherman Oaks Nursery School Co-op and the Rose Scharlin Co-op are outside preschools.

Not sure if they are what you're looking for but worth checking out.

oh, they look both very lovely!! unfortunately it will be too far for us, my boyfriends job is located in lawndale and we tend to move to the beach area. i love the area around torrance though, so much forest : but it will be too far for him to drive and he'll stuck in traffic all day, so we have to look in a closer area.
