Home Insemination Kits

Has anyone tried to conceive by using a home insemination kit and sperm donation from a sperm bank? Would love any insight, tips, pros, cons, ups, downs you may have. I'm considering it and don't know where/how to begin. Thank you!

I self-inseminated at home and did not waste $$ on kits. I got one of those baby medicine dispensers (the plunger kind, not the bulb kind) and used that. I conceived on my 5th try (using fresh sperm). I'd be happy to answer any other questions you have,

Suzie, how do you go about starting sperm donors? I live in south GA, do I have to find a sperm donor in GA. Can it be shipped to my house? Can you fill me in with that?

how did you do it exactly. I been trying to do it for a friend and no luck getting pregnant. we cant afford sperm banks and fertility clinic. we have a donor but the rest we don't know what to do. what did you use exactly to succeed if you don't mind me askingjoy.gif
