Chicken Pox in Central Maine

Thread Starter
My friend in Damariscotta Maine has just informed me that her 21 month old has chickenpox. I am bringing my 17 month old over on Friday to expose him. Anyone else looking for chicken pox?

ETA: I'm in the Skowhegan/Waterville area.

Looking.....yes! I'm a town south of Portland though, so if you can pass it to a child say in Falmouth or Freeport then we will be golden!

And we're in a town west of Portland but would be willing to travel!! Let us know if and when it comes a bit further south!

Thanks so much,
Sarah

I'll update if ds breaks out...haven't had a chance to arrange a playdate yet, the roads were awful up here today. I'm hoping the "poxed one" () is still contagious next Tuesday. If not, maybe her 4 y.o brother will be!

Did this outbreak go anywhere? At this point I would be willing to travel to expose my daugther, so if it is still in Waterville area please let me know!

Would love some Chicken Pox!!

We're looking for Chicken Pox here! We're in Bath and would love to take a drive over to Damariscotta if it's still contagious over there! Or anywhere for it really! Eager for my two boys to get it while they're young. I had it when I was 12 and it lasted 2 weeks!

Any more Midcoast ME Pox cases?

Bump!

Wondering if anyone else near Damiriscotta got the pox. We're over in Bath and would love to expose my kids to it.

Thanks,

Amanda

We exposed 11 days ago. DD has a spot on her belly but it may just be a fluke (she gets a rash over anything!) But I will keep everyone posted over the next couple of days. Hopefully she will break out soon. I'm on the NH seacoast for those that are looking to travel.
