Sunnysandiegan, I wouldn't worry too much about having too much work for one day. Ongoing projects a great to carry over. I know sometimes I can become overwhelmed with projects if I don't break them into smaller tasks and tackle the tasks one at a time. But, wow, you're very busy! Your projects sound interesting.

Okay, the dishes took two 15 minute sessions. Now I will dry and put them away and clean the counter and the stove.

Why not air dry your dishes? That saves time and also is more sanitary. I do that with dishwasher. Never use the heat dry cycle, just let the dishes sit there for a couple of hours afterwards and they're pretty dry!

I'm back from cleaning under a large end table, vacuuming, cleaning cat feeding area.

And, STILL, I'm SUPER tired this morning.

I wonder how much of this has to do with the time change? And, I have had coffee. Doesn't seem to be doing anything!?!

I also had so much energy yesterday, and did a ton of work. Wonder, did I burn myself out?

I did that the other day. I broke the "only 15min at a time" rule I had set and woke up the next morning feeling like crap

ok I'm in, I'll start in five minutes (1:45pm) and see how much I can get done. I spent all day Friday cleaning (and doing a darned good job TYVM), but now I'm burned out and have no interest or motivation. So...here I go

3 minutes and counting...if you see me online from 1:45 to 2pm...YELL AT ME!

I let them air dry sometimes, but I wanted my counter cleared off to start chopping veggies to make broth and also to make room for the rice cooker.

Next I am, well, just cooking... :-)

Today I got dressed to shoes (they help with motivation but I HATE wearing them indoors)!! The first load of laundry is in the dryer, the bed is made and the bathroom wiped down.

I have lots to get done today in 15 minute increments. Here's my first few lists:

1) Put away dishes and clear counter for bread making. :-)

2) During rising of the dough, do weekly home blessing (dust, vacuum, sweep & mop, trash, clean mirrors and doors, purge newpapers & magazines

3) Put next load of laundry in (being sure to pretreat some items)

4) Fold and put away first load of laundry

PoetryLover, I hear you on the shoes! I have a pair of cute 'character' shoes left over from my dancing days that don't have tread to track crap everywhere and they dont feel clunky. Plus, they have a heel and make me feel rather chic, even with jeans!

I have all of my basics to do, (Laundry, kitchen, clutter sweep) plus I need to deep clean the bathroom, vacuum, sweep, and do some gardening (to prevent dead seedlings). I have a possible daycare family coming over to meet and see, and right now I wouldn't want their 10 month old crawling on my floors!

I've lost my timer in the kitchen clutter, however, so I guess that's my first task!

I have gotten a lot done already but I need more help.

Here is what I have to do.

Fold the laundry on the couch. (DONE!)

[FONT=Verdana]Fold the laundry on the bed. (DONE)

Clean master bathroom.(Done!)

Clean children's/guest bathroom. (DONE)

Five clean and three play outfits per child.

CultivatingMyRoots, I am just wearing sneakers and can barely stand it. (A pair of comfortable stylish heels would be nice, though.) But I'm being producitve. So far, I've got a loaf of bread in the oven and the second load of laundry in the dryer. Yes, and I scored a job interview. Yay.

So now I am going to continue with my first list. I still have to fold the laundry and do my weekly home blessing (sweep, mop...). I'm on the move.

Hotmamcita, welcome. May you enjoy the fulfillment of productivity (and floors that even when you can't eat off them, you can still walk on them. That's my personal standards. For the so-clean-you-can-eat-off-the-floor folks, I say: Ew! Why would you want to do that? Just kidding. Figured I'd insert a little clean humor.

Those are my kind of standards!

Dishes; done. Bed; made. Laundry; ongoing, but a good start. Haven't done any of the big things. Ugh.

I know, I still haven't gotten my weekly home blessing (which only takes 40ish minutes) done. I had a lengthy telephone interruption. But now I'm exercising, so I'll have to do that either tonight or tomorrow. :-)

K yesterday I forgot to come update! I got a load put away, the loads switched out, and a new load started. I picked up the baby's space in her room, made the beds, and put dishes in the sink.

I'll do another 15 today and check back in

Ok. Wasted baby's nap for 'me' time: watched my one hour of TV, got dressed(luxury of luxuries!), and did some freecycle correspondence.

Now, I'm elbow deep in gardening, DH is home but locked himself in his office, : and the baby is WHINY.

I still need to sweep, vacuum, and clean the kitchen from lunch. Why do we eat so often?!?!!
