Crayon in the Wash!

Thread Starter
Have I ruined the kids' HA winter coats??

I accept losing my favorite pants.

I used BioKleen's solvent to remove the crayon from the dryer, mostly. And then I washed the inside of the dryer. That's mostly fixed.

But it is all over their coats and my pants. Is there any hope or do I need to go winter coat shopping in MARCH?? Crud.
Those coats should have lasted 2-3 YEARS.

I did this twice.. the first time i remember using hairspray & dish detergent & after um.. 4 times washing & retreating the stains.. it was all gone

the 2nd time I used a product specifically for removing crayon from clothes.. our piggly wiggly sells it

There is a product called CARBONA, its in the laundry aisle at some stores, i get ours at Safeway and possibly Albertsons, there are about 7 different types, each for a different 'stain'. I love that stuff.
